Quick question to those of you who know Japanese

Hey, I know a couple people on these boards know how to speak Japanese, so I figured it's a good place to ask.

I need to call my girlfriend in Japan but I don't know how to speak Japanese, and there's a chance her parents will answer the phone, who can't speak english. So my question is, how could I ask to speak with my girlfriend when I call?

So something like.. Hi, this is (name). May I please speak to (name)?

Simple enough, i just dont want to use an online translator and have it not make any sense.

"(Your name) desu ga, (your girlfriend's name) imasu ka?" -> "This is (your name), is (your girlfriend's name) there?"

"Konbanwa" -> Good Night
"Konnichiwa" -> Good Afternoon
"Ohayou Gozaimasu" -> Gooda Moaning

Ex.: If you're calling her 2 PM (Japanese time) you should say

"Konnichiwa, (your name) desu ga, (your girlfriend's name) imasu ka?"

Oh, by the way, here are two important things you might want to know:

"Nihongo ga wakarimasen" -> "I don't understand Japanese"
"Eigo ga wakarimasuka?" -> "English, mo fo, do you speak it?"

lol.. Well I didn't call yet, it's almost 2 AM there. I asked because I havn't heard from her in a little while, she said she was having problems with her msn and email, and she hasn't called me. So I'll give her a call when it's morning there so I don't wake everyone

And her mother has met me before, so that's okay, but I've never met or spoken to her father
