The most fun I've had with my Sony MDR-V700DJs was giving them away to a friend.

The most fun I have had with my V6's was........ last night..

Posted by ORSTTranceAddic on Jul-31-2006 01:42:

the cans holding the earcups on are cracked all the way to the top and are being supported by zip ties... so not much fun

Posted by Vero on Jul-31-2006 18:46:

no no no, the most fun to be had with a pair of v700s is to crank the bass and the level all the way up so they are distorting really badly, and then you put one cup against each of your balls and jerk off furiously until you splooge onto a original press of darude - sandstorm.

now go buy some proper cans...

700s = worst cans known to man

Never thought of that ! Im slightly gonna rape my hand later !

damn ...what is it with the sony's , everyone i know that has ever owned any headphones from them end up going to crap. They always seem to break around the cups. Piece of crap

Posted by DOOMBOT on Aug-03-2006 20:56:

These are what I use at home. Getting used to these and then using other peoples headphones is great. My entire setup helps me, I think, because when I finally go to use higher end equipment it makes me feel like Im a friggin pro.

my best time with my 700's was the last time i used them

patched together, i played a rockin set and finished with call on me when it was a promo

unplugged and joined everyone on the dancefloor, bouncing, the zip-ties gave way and they shattered to the dust...

gotta find a pic... got them airbushed, looked so sick

acrtic camo

blah, I think my Stanton 3000's died, they keep cutting off the bass for some reason during the songs I'm trying to cue.

I'm thinking about getting a pair of these since it seems everyone loves them. Either that or I might get some Senheiser 280's. But this is just not what I needed since I don't have much money. Fucking Stanton.

Yeah and im guessing your cheap shit Sennheiser headphones constrict your head making bloodflow not an option.

I owned the 7509's and i just bought the 7506's (haven't got them yet), and please don't buy the Pioneer HDJ-1000 they sound as cheap as the look

Im currenly owning the Sennheiser HD-25's and the soundquality beats them all. Perfect for dj'ing for their light weight and it won't hurt having them on the head for several hours.
I would say the same for the Sony 750x series but they are more suitable for the studio and they are heavier, bigger but sits on the head very comfortable atleast on mine. And the soundquality is very good too.

Other good brands include Beyerdynamic, AKG, Grado but im not sure about them since i haven't owned them.

Good luck! m8

Great buy m8. They are a bit big for dj'ing but the problably suit your head just fine. As i said in my last post they fit my balls perfectly.

Cheers!
