perhaps time for a redesign?
im sure many agree with me when i say that the tranceaddict site rocks.
but... i feel that it lacks identity as a site, lots of unused space in the design, perhaps put in some graphics?

It was already in the planning, put with the HD crashes it probably take a bit longer than expected
so there are people working on it?
is there like a logo tranceaddict uses?
if there isn't, it could be interesting to let people try and create one.

Total redesign is comming, but as you prob no they take a while to make look good. And i think this site is good as it has no clutter, the best sites are easy to read, and simple. Cant wait for the redesign, i will ask swamper tonight when he thinks it will be up.

But the site has always looked great, so we don't worry that it might look dumb
i have no complaints or anything... it just lacks a professional look.
not that im saying that it 'should' be professional...
it's his site and he should do with it whatever he pleases.
but it can be so much more

theoden: okay bud.. first of all you have only been here for 2 days, you signed up march 4th, today march 6th you are complaining.. hasnt your mother ever told you be greatful for the good recieved?? second, there is a button called 'edit/delete' posts.. you obviously don't know how to use that, because you have 28 posts (8.58) a day.. and they are random ass shit so you get more people looking at your thread

i saw the thread about site suggestions/comments... hence my comment.
i mean you no disrespect, really...
but don't you go saying that i am complaining and that im a lamer, if i cant even post some constructive criticism whithout being flamed just say so, and the fact that i have been here for only three days and and already giving comments and criticism only means that i speak my mind rather then sit back and reply to others.

i love trance as much as anyone else here, probably more then most (i know im gonna get some replies on that statement).
let's just forget i said anything and drop this discussion
as far as redesign goes, i believe swamper and someone else is working on that already for a long time now. i am not sure if they are complete by any means though. we'll just have to wait for swamper to have the final word on when this new version of tranceaddict will be released. in the meantime, the site is fine as it is. simple, easy to use navigation.
Is it just me or do we have a different design here at this very same spot??
cos my background is all of a sudden white/grey and the to is purple..

I like the white much more than the black.. although the black was kind of like a 'trademark' in my eyes.
wel, I personally hope this is not gonna be it, cos I'm not particularry fond of it... then again, I LOVE BLACK, I'm a nightperson

plus there is only the vBulletinlogo on top... so I'm not sure about this thingy...

That 'white' came up because the settings were accidently changed for this section of the forums... things are back to normal now.
I can offer other style sets to view the forums in and users can pick what colour they want.. but that is a lot of work because then a lot of icons have black matte to them and are not transparent gifs so they would have to be changed in order to keep things looking good... but yes I prefer black, some of us hardly see the light of day on weekends so I figured it was appropriate.

Leave the design on this site as it is, maybe just a facelift with the main site
