Need info on Houston events!

The woman and I are planning to be in Houston either wednesday 8/16 or thursday 8/17 night, so I was wondering if anyone knew of anything worth attending while we're in town. Any and all info is much appreciated!

I could use something to do, too. SHOULD come on the 11th for The Crystal Method, instead, but I'm guessing there's a reason you're coming, so...yeah...

That's some cold shit. Firstly, I thought Dirk was moving to Dallas, not shacking up with you, and secondly, your taking him to Houston just to watch him die is callous and karmically irreverent.
