SD guidelines ? your suggestions
let's say there is a sticky thread, what would you include in it ?
The use of the word "soccer" should be banned.
Americans arent allowed post in football related threads.
^haha agreed
On a serious note this is what I would do to help shit:
- Official threads are official threads any threads that have to do with the club should be locked (example Van Nistelrooy thread when there are already Real/Man Utd threads and transfer threads)
-For the americans same thing except stick to the League Official threads. Not many americans post here so ATM would be best to group their sports in one.
-Sticky my perdiciton thread
sticky the fantasy league thread aswell to get as much interest as possible.

You could segregate all the sports into their own sub forums
example - have a seperate forum on football, tennis, f1, baseball etc.
And ne1 using the
to taunt opposition fans, should be banned.
Ok, here's a bit from yours not truly:
-Your name in the "Moderated by: " appears twice in the WC subforum. Take care of that.
-El Clasico thread should be stickied one week before for flaming purposes.
-Move the Juventus thread to the COR or to another subforum. Relegate it!
-You said you were going to stop watching football.
As for what should be included in a sticky thread:
-The rules. There's gotta be some rules. I'm sure you know the basic ones.
-A user can only make a max of one poll per week. (Hello metoon!)
-Post direct links to the official threads of Real Madrid, Barca, hmmm, well, I guess Inter and Milan as well. You could post a link to all the official threads for that matter.
-Also, if you don't want to sticky the fantasy league threads you could just post a direct link to them.
You'll have the final word on what makes it. So my only advice is that you don't put so much Barca-related stuff.

on a more serious note:
sticky the Loek Van Mil thread (only cuz a few of us are following to see if he wil make it up to the big leagues in baseball)
sticky the sports random thread
sticky everytime Aristronica is starting an official fantasy league
sticky CraveTheWave's NFL weekly prediction thread
for american sports, the official threads should follow the format:
1 regular season thread
1 post season thread
1 off season thread
i have to ask with all these potential rules/stickies etc
why are we fixing something that isnt broken?

I like verns idea. Although, since most of our sports are seasonal, then you should keep an eye out on, example, when NBA season is over, then the sticky should be nba offseason and such. But, there will be too much stickys anyways, so i dont know if it will work out. Also, i dont think we should have stickys for all the "soccer" teams. well maybe for Inter, but thats it.
Don't stick all that shit, it'd clutter the forum as hell. You only need to make a single sticky "general information thread" with a bunch of rules (ie you can have fun but to a limit, don't be racist and have a minimum of respect for other sports, something like that, come up with the rules you're the mod), and a list of important threads. Then that list of important threads could be divided by sports. Relevant threads to be mentioned there could be all games (fantasy leagues and prediction games), and an index of all official club/league threads. That should be more than enough.

If we called soccer 'football' in the US, we'd get it confused with our football, so its not gonig to happen. Sorry.
