Sasha-Involver vs Fundacion

Which album do you perefer and why?
l find Fundacion rather dull a bit. what do you think?

Posted by RapidFire on Jul-31-2006 23:42:

while Involver is the more original of the two I had more fun with Fundacion. now that sound is growing tiresome and Involver seems to have stood the test of time better.

but because I had such a blast with Fundacion, im gonna go with it.

Not comparable.

Agreed.

Subjectively, I prefer to listen to Involver, though I think Fundacion is a tighter package. But they're both completely different and fairly original in their own rights.

mixing wise = fundacion
trackseletion = involver
for me the winner is involver, i dunno fundacion was bland

Involver was way more interesting, in the concept and the tracklisting.

man, you have no idea what interesting is. listen to fundacion on a decent set of cans.

Fundacion bored me to tears, so Involver by default.

+1

best thing I like about Involver is that there are no super standout tracks, just brilliantly smooth from start to finish.

started watching the Sasha & Digweed : Delta Heavy Tour DVD, man wish I was there at the yacht party to see him drop tracks off Airdrawndagger for the first time.

lol

fundacion was great except for the intro, then it had an awesome trackselection up until come to me, it goes downhill from there.

Posted by JakeC on Aug-01-2006 09:29:

it went downhill after that depeche mode remix on fundacion. INvolver still sounds ace!

Posted by RebeL9 on Aug-01-2006 09:45:

both are sleeping pills. amazing how crappy both are compared to Sasha's older mix CDs such as GU09 and GU13.

Posted by Geoff on Aug-01-2006 09:48:

definately Involver

fundacion for sure. altho the intro is the worst thing ever and it gets a bit dull at the end, but it's still miles better than involver, which is crap IMO.

Posted by The 3am Junkie on Aug-01-2006 13:51:

fundacion all the way

How can you call Involver crappy? What makes it crappy?

That its not above 130bpm?

How can you compare Involver to GU013...lmao...they are completely different, in concept, mood, execution.

it's just sleeping pills. simple as that. and clearly shows how boring his newer style is.

I guess to you its sleeping pills. What I like about both CDs, is that I can put them on to relax to, or I can put them on and feel like dancing.

Theres aloooooooot of people who would disagree with you.

They're not very comparable, but I still prefer Involver. Without even looking at anything else, the tracklist is far superior with tracks like The Youngsters - Smile and Ulrich Schnauss - On My Own.

Well I haven't compared them. I love Fundacion for two Come to me compositions and how they are mixed.

On Involver there are Burma, Watching cars go by and Ulrich's "on my own" mixed nicely together.

But I guess I've listened more to Fundacion because of "come to me" club mix.
