god! notre dame is the new USC right now. people are going to overhype them, and say they are the best team out there and everything. Frankly, i think Quinn is going to have an alright year, and still win the Heisman, because of the hype. I am not saying he is a bad quarterback, but there are better ones out there. I think he is not going to have much success in the pros, because he is more of a "system" quarterback, rather than a "natural" quarterback. Then again, all past Heisman winner quarterbacks have done basically shit the past 30 years, so what's new, right? haha.
but i am real interested to see how USC is going to look like, now that they lost Leinert, Bush, and White. People say they are still good, but that's on paper.

Originally posted by King Ecnal Yeah, but USC did live up to the hype??? Except for Vince Young last January. But I mean, I don't think USC could have been overhyped really. I hate college football, but the only thing I can root for is Charlie Weis, cause he's a genius, so go ND!!!
The BCS and there have never been good college football teams around here, BC Eagles just aren't my bag, and I don't know, its just not really big up here. I never got into it. I always take the pro game(NFL) over the college ball. I'm weird...
Oregon alma mater biaaches. Oregon's 12th... woo hoo. I'd be shocked they actually finish that high.

Notre Dame and their persistance for playing Independently pisses me off yes I know Adidas/NBC and more sponsors come with it but It just really sucks.
I hate them too

Originally posted by Kapedan I dont follow much NCAA football, but why the heck does NBC play only thier games? Yes, I know sponsor, but why them?

Originally posted by King Ecnal I always thought of it as Notre Dame is Notre Dame; one of the most storied college football programs. NBC has been with Notre Dame since the early 90's, so its obviously worthwhile. They keep renewing the tv contract with ND, so they must be the smartest move, money and value wise... plus the obvious... Notre Dame have a SHITLOAD of fans across the country... every Irish PRICK I know... is a die hard Notre Dame fan... its like a badge of honor, or the thing to do, because they're the "Fighting Irish." I think its stupid, but that's how it goes...
Notre Dame games when good will outrate anything else on the TV at that time no matter if #1 is playing #2 on ABC its that sad

Colorado lost to a 1AA school Montana St.
Easy on the East coast bias!!
Oklahoma vs. Oregon coming up... woo hoo. My Ducks kicked the snot out of lowly Stanford today.
Why do I get the feeling Notre Dame is vastly overrated?
