Who else has Astral Projection as their favorite Edm artist/artists?

Astral Projection is a Goa Trance group from Israel. They had a lot of hit songs in the mid to late 90's. Their stuff in recent years doesn't seem as good.

Download these songs from them. Make sure you get the versions from their "In The Mix" cd! Here they are...

My favorite song by them I am not sure, I have to consider the top 6. Seriously, Astral Projection's top 6 songs might be the most badass things I have ever heard of in my entire life! They are just very good!

Also, get a bunch of their top "Sfx" songs!

@ your post... just the way you worded it as if MOST of TA has never heard of them... I find funny.

But yes, they were amazing back in the day... but now they are just Icons of the Goa/Psy trance world.. They seriously need a new album to spark their fire again.. if they even care anymore.

Hey man not to be hating, but theres better Goa/Psy out there.

There way better artist that make Astral Projections Productions seem watered down.

I am starting to think the thread creator was an ex-kandi raver.

Psysex > Astral Projection.

i generally like all the stuff i've heard from them, i like the 'amen' album a lot, which a lot of people think is crap
looking forward to the open society album

i would say 'mahadeva' is my favourite tune from them

I thought they were techno?

Astral Projection is the best artist that I ever heard in trance. I'm downloading everything which has in its name words "Astral Projection". Their albums Trust In Trance 3, Dancing Galaxy, Another World are one of the greatest treasures in trance IMO. Their music sounds just perfect and it has no influence of time.

Just what I was thinking actually!

Some of AP's old production are classics. But like TweeK said, many of them seem very watered down nowadays..

Dancing Galaxy is the best trance album ever made. The question is if they ever gonna find their way back to pwnage of that kind.

Ten was awful though. It was all generic fullon remixes that completely ruin their originals. Except for joof's remix of mahadeva, but one ok track can't save the album.

These guys are the only psy producers i like, awesome stuff. Nilaya is their best track imo

I've been listening to Astral since mid-90s and loved most of their stuff. and I agree what the others said abut AMEN. it's too generic compared to their older banging stuff.
Their SFX stuff is really nice too. Sweet and more subtle trance.
Tip: Check out their remake of Jarre's Oxygene IV (called SFX - Oxygene).

Well, agree about their album Amen, it seems generic if to compare it with their previous releases. But if not to make this comparison for me this album is quite good. Previous year's track Open Society was also quite good, but not as good as their 90's tracks.

i am really new to psytrane and stuff, ive heard of astral projection last week and i was listening and enjoying a lot their songs, i really liked : people can fly. I heard some people here saying their is many other good psytrance artist nowadays, can you name some for me please, or can you make a little list with your best psytrance songs, please.

Apart from SFX - Millennia, really nice: yes. Sweet and subtle: dunno about that.
