heard Hallucinogens remix?
I like MWNN's remix but Simon Posford did an even better job with it.

Yeah Posford's remix is huge, dead heat between the two imo, but if I take into account that MWNN did his remix in 1995 it tilts a little toward MWNN. The original mix sounds way more dated than the MWNN remix.

Simons remix is from 2004 :Q

I know, that's the point. MWNN did his track 10 years earlier and they (mwnn's and posford's) sound equally "fresh" compared to the original.

yeah the original feels dated. I think Simon knew this, hence his 2004 remix. which turned out to be great.

Totally. All I need now is an updated version of LSD.

Great tracks mentioned but...

The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing

Steer clear of Yahel's version though.

Hmm I didn't really get into psy until just a few years ago. My favorite artist at the top would have to be Delirious. Others would be Protoculture, Wizzy Noise, Overlap, and Cyber Cartel to name a few.

speakign of goa/psy,

im playing my first ever psy gig in 3 weeks time.
can someone recommend me some good full on so i can narrow down my searches on psyshop. 3 weeks is about how long the cds would take to arrive here. .

edit: btw,. . i'm really digging psysex and logic bomb right now.

Posted by Axolotyl on Aug-03-2006 05:18:

^^ what time are you playing?

Posted by superglo on Aug-03-2006 06:14:

1am - 2am.
1 hour closing set.
the guy before me is playing a funky techno set.
a friend of mine is supporting me on a drum machine and efx unit.

Human Blue - Non Transparent Shadows

On his first (I think) album called Ice. Was one of the tunes that got me into trance and I love it to DEEEEEEEEEEEYT

Posted by Axolotyl on Aug-03-2006 07:01:

Listen to these albums, they are more on the techy side of full on and a bit dark. Could go well after techno?? You might like them too if your into psysex... similar style.

We can take these animals and systems and stick them in an incredibly small container, and it still works!

2. Hallucinogen - Shamanix
3. Quirk - Cognative Dissonance
4. Man With No Name - Teleport
5. Astral Projection - Life on Mars tied with Liquid Sun

Most are still around. Just under different names.

Slinky Wizard is around.. Gus Till still does shit all the time.
GNOTR - part of Mumbo Jumbo
Darshan - took a 5 year hiatus, but is actually working on an album right now. Was talking with Colin from Voice of Cod the other day and said they were working on tunes just the other day.

Darshans first album btw, is one of the BEST goa trance albums ever. In my opinion, really kickstarted the full on psytrance sound that is so popular today.

"I heard a sound... like... wind chimes..."

That album + 1/8th of mushrooms = woah
