Telefon Tel Aviv and Dave Clarke

um... maybe a stupid question, but what is the difference between the DJ's that have "LIVE" next to their name compared to the talent that doesn't? Am I missing something....why wouldn't they all be "Live" ?
Live stands for Live P.A.

okay, can someone give me an idea of how many people are going to be there?
i havent seen this venue.
when i first heard about this, i thought for a second that it was at the new ampitheatre in millenium park. i looked, and it seems that they built over migg's airfield?
im confused. the stage at millenium park would be perfect for this.
Anybody know if there will be pass outs for this event?
In other words, can we go out to our cars to eat/drink stuff we brought.

Is "The Juan McLean Live" the same as the Juan McLean that opened for BT in Milwaukee?

| My 401K So some douche bag the other day was like "juan, do you really think your'e gonna go the rest of your life without doing drugs?" And I was like "oh shit, I never thought of that, you know it never crossed my mind..." What a fucking cock. I think about it just about every 5 minutes of every day and the answer is no, I don't think I'm gonna go the rest of my life without doing drugs. My plan is this: I'm gonna get a few things done first, this should take about 12 more years. Release some albums until people have moved on to some other kind of music and I am a has-been. See my kids off after high school graduation, then that's it. I'm gonna put away a bunch of money for those two kids in a way that I absolutely can't touch it. THen I'm gonna sell everything I have left, gather everything I have in cash, rent a cheap hotel room, and fill it with drugs according to the following ratio: 80% heroin, 10% cocaine, 2% syringes, 3% pot, 5% alcohol. So say I have $200k (this is what I have a 401k for, btw) - $180,000 on heroin, $4,000 syringes, $10,000 on cocaine, $6,000 on pot, and $10,000 on alcohol. Then I'll put all these purchases in my room and get high until I'm dead.So that's the answer to the question of wether or not I'm gonna go the rest of my life without getting high. I can't wait!!! |

I do like some of his alt disco tracks, but I read he doesn't do those live.

Wow, I'm quite envious...
have a blast everyone!
maybe I'll be back next year to check this out
(the perfect line up: summer sonic in Japan then pure nation in Chicago? hmmm...)
Actually really looking forward to this. Outdoor festivals are my fav, like PvD or AvB in Central park and of course Ultra. Really wanna hit up Dance Valley or a huge UK event
Line-up should be well-worth the $. Curious tho, I have seen different line-up time schedules. Is the one at the top of the thread the right one? If so, that would rock--JXL, DD, then Tiesto.
JXL always puts on a rocking show, and despite his shows being predictable (Beauty that Never Fades, Red pill/blue pill, Today, Talk, Breezer, etc), I definitely love his track selection, and he is a total performer/whack job on stage, so should be awesome!
Honestly, haven't seen DD in a while. I used to be so into them around the Renaissance Ibiza/GU 21 Moscow (amazing compilations) time and even up to GU 25 Toronto but not totally my style these days, but really wanna see them again to see what's up.
Tiesto usually puts on a good show and hope he plays a more In Search of Sunrise set (nice progressive trance--perfect for the lake front
) than a Parade of the Athletes set (blows! haha).
Am also gonna check out the names I don't recognize. Definitely a good way to start the Labor Day weekend.
Can't believe how long it has been since I have been on here, but hopefully a bunch of you guys are planning on coming. I see Juliet is
