Question Trance-Addict Jobs

I read alot of threads that include members either complaining about or on some occasions praising their work environment. I've always wondered who works where and does what for a living?

Personally, I'm a tech/chef at a downtown restaurant. I've been in the culinary industry about 7 years.

Anyone ??

I work for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Algonquin Park. Basically all day I help plan trips, issue tonnes of different kinds of permits, and am forced to speak french to half the customers because they usually don't know any English. I also help police find missing people which is sorta fun. (a benefit to working with police is that I get away with speeding lol)

But I really enjoy where I work. I get to go camping for free, I meet tonnes of amazing people from all over the world every day, my staff house overlooks a beautiful lake, I can go canoeing, hiking, and kayaking whenever I feel like it, and I also see bears, moose, and wolves on a regular basis which is pretty awesome.

ahaha Sasha that's hilarious! I get calls from people sometimes saying "I was told to call you from an Ontario travel representative" haha now I know it could have been you! The number that you give them is the west gate info centre building (but they sometimes get sent to me because they are always swamped with calls). The number you should give them is 613-637-2780 ext 313 (me!) lol

That is the number for the East Gate info centre and switchboard. We give the exact same info out on the phone as the other number you have, only this one is better because I would be answering the phone! ahaha (but only give out that number on fridays, saturdays, sundays, and mondays
Sometimes I prefer to talk on the phone than to run around the office helping people.
