Anyone get this letter from Dancevalley Crew (Dutch People Read plz!)

Beste Dance Valley bezoeker,

Dance Valley Crew

1.) Who got it.
2.) what does it mean?

I can vaguely understand some of it form my Dutch lessons in the Dutch forum. It says "thank you for reserving a dancevalley ticket. We want to remind u that each email entitles you to one reservation." Thats about it!

Thanks for reserving a Dance Valley ticket. We've had a lot of questions why you can only reserve 1 ticket per email address. A lot of visitors want to come to Dance Valley with several friends that don't have email addresses. If you want to be sure you and your friends get the tickets, come to Concept. Everyone of your friends can buy a Dance Valley ticket @ Concept.

This is not only a cheaper way to get tickets, but it's also your chance to have the tickets this coming sturday already!! So, if you and your friends want to be sure of getting a Dance Valley ticket, come see us at Concept. Go to www.conceptparty.com. for more info.

Dance Valley Crew

Concept is a party (techno)

This sucks bigtime!!! All my partyfriends have been to Dancevalley around 3 times already, and none of them has internet at home!!! ANd we are certainly NOT planning on spending cash on a Concept ticket (and train-ticket...and drinks etc) to be getting a hold of those freaken DANCE VALLEY TICKETS!!!!

If we aren't gonna get those tickets we'll find a spot to climb over the fenses (isn't that what gatcrashing is referring to??)

I HATE UDC (organisor)

And I love to party!!!

damn

Posted by tu_face on Mar-07-2002 10:12:

Hey!!!!! Love Parade anyone? Just try to find a cheap flight to Berlin and you're settled!! No need for a hotel.....just PARTYTIME!!!!!

Or you could train up to Leeuwarden and go in our special LP coach

Posted by goldenarmZ on Mar-07-2002 12:19:

jeff, if we go to the love parade instead, do you fancy making a long weekend of it and stopping a couple of nights in amsterdam as well?

Posted by tu_face on Mar-07-2002 13:55:

that depends on how much shit is gonna cost.. i.e. is it gonna cost loads to get from berlin to amsterdam...? we need to do some research

Posted by Ste on Mar-07-2002 15:49:

Should be the first weekend of July, so Fri 5th July to Sunday 7th.

Once confirmed, I'll book me flight!

Posted by Miss Proximus on Mar-08-2002 00:12:

July 13 to be precise

Theres lotsa massive parties the night before (friday) and afterparties on Saturdaynite

You could go to www.loveparade.net but it's in German and there's very little info on it.

There are several ways to travel to Berlin.

A special LoveParade train departs from Central Station Rotterdam, in which you can party and sleep or do anything else u fancy

You can also go by coach. Both train and coach will take you around 10 hours to get to Berlin (!!!!)

Me and my friend are hiring our own coach, but that means you'd have to train to Leeuwarden first (2,5 hours from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport) and that costs money too. From Leeuwarden it's around 8 hours to Berlin.

Otherwise it would be any idea to find a cheap flight to Berlin, and therefore I suggest www.travelocity.com or www.expedia.com

I'm sure you can find hotels if you search for m on the net

The loveparade starts around 12 am when all the people gather in the streets and the trucks start to drive, it ends at about 11 pm, and then you can go to several afterparties.
Entrance is free, you can take your own food and drinks (a blanket is convenient) or just buy them from all the little "retailers" at the side of the road.

For any specific q's......you know where to find me!! (here, mostly )

Posted by Miss Proximus on Mar-08-2002 00:37:

Well: Expedia 170 pounds

Travelocity 121 pounds

Posted by goldenarmZ on Mar-08-2002 08:07:

bloody hell.. i didn't know it would take that long to get to berlin!

That's what I thought

I was laffing loud when I typed the "10 hours" part, cuz u guys thought Berlin was just around the corner

Amsterdam is @ the south-west of Holland, while Belin is on the very north-east of Germany!!

Still coming though?

Posted by tu_face on Mar-08-2002 10:29:

if im gunna make it im gunna have to save hard. this means no GC between SSS & luvparade.... aaaaah

i may die from withdrawal....

i knew berlin was miles from amsterdam thats why i was hmmmin...

Posted by goldenarmZ on Mar-08-2002 10:29:

yep i'm gonna look into how much it would cost to fly to amsterdam, have a few days there, then get the train to leeuwarden and get your coach and then either fly back from Berlin, or get the coach/train back to Amsterdam.. do you have a rough idea how much the train and coach will cost?

Posted by Miss Proximus on Mar-08-2002 11:04:

If you do want to take our coach it'll be best to travel from Leeuwarden to Berlin and back, cuz you'll pay the coachtrip as a return-trip. Taking that into account you'll roughly pay this for your trip:

Flying from Luton to Amsterdam and back is about 43 pounds... (p.p.)

Train to Leeuwarden and back to Schiphol Airport is around 16 pounds.

The coach to Berlin + hotel on fridaynight will hopefully be around 50 p.p

I had a look @ easyjet.com and selected a flight to Amsterdam on Thursday July 11, departing 13:55 (GBP 15.40) and the flight back to Luton on Tuesday July 16, departing 15:10 (GBP 10.90). Including taxes etc..it'll be around 43 GBP.
If you fly in on thursday you can spend the night at Ant & my house (or my dad's cuz it's bigger) and when we come back from Berlin (sunday around 10 pm) you can sleep over on sunday and train back to Amsterdam on monday if you like. That way you have mondays and tuesdays to discover Amsterdam (and thursdays before the LP)

Total costs: 43 + 16 + 50 = 109 pounds

I'll be having my summer break then, so I'll be happy to train to Amsterdam and join anyone that's coming to Amsterdam. No mushrooms for me though But i don't mind watching

Posted by tu_face on Mar-08-2002 11:14:

thatll be more like 150 quid for trainage to luton.... then spendo... hmm this is gonna b v expensive...

i shall defo try my hardest to make it though

Posted by dj_mdma on Mar-08-2002 11:37:

Ok, money won't be a problem at all, so I'll fly. On an acid trip. LOL

newayz, this is well far away, but meeting in Holland sounds like a laugh.

Count me in!

cheers hun, u saved me a lot of buggering about there soooo... 109 plus food, plus hotel in the dam for a night, plus spendo is gonna be about 200... plus weed budget = about 1000 right, i can definately afford it if i put away a bit of money every week from now till then so i'll see you there!

Posted by Miss Proximus on Mar-08-2002 13:19:

Cool!!!

Just take one pill less every weekend and you'll have enuf money

And don't worry about weed....we've got plenty (is is cheap or expensive Spad and Jas???)

And try to contact Spad or Jas for the prices of that hotel they had

Or ask me and I'll find u a cheaper hotel

And trainage to Luton: No VV7 ??

Posted by Miss Proximus on Mar-10-2002 23:48:

Hey, I was looking @ Buzz Bookings and there's a flight from Stanstead to Berlin for GBP 113.30!!

The flight is a little less than 3 hours

I'm still searching for the best and cheapest options for those of you coming to the Love Parade!! I'll start a new thread after the NEC

X Prox

Posted by goldenarmZ on Mar-11-2002 14:21:

i've just found out there's one of them budget airlines that flies from the east midlands airport (only 30 mins from chesterfield) so i'm gonna check those prices out later

Posted by Miss Proximus on Mar-12-2002 19:38:

and? how much is it?

Posted by tu_face on Mar-13-2002 14:02:

east midlands is more that 30 mins from chesterfield.. but still its a damn site nearer than stanstead or luton lol

Posted by TimeportE on Mar-13-2002 16:28:

since you asked to read this i read the whole thread and i'm a bit confused.. what i think is going on: you are trying to go to the loveparade and dancevally and you're now trying to find out how much it would cost to get to berlin from amsterdam?? hope that i got it right!
btw.. the tickets for dancevalley aren't what i would say cheap.. 67,5 euro !! that's a lot of money (but i'm also poor so that could explain things ).. if you going to dv and lp then you would be spending a wholelot of money.. but you sure are to see a awefull lot of great dj's!!
