ILights at the CZ

If anyone is privy to the management at the Comfort Zone, please tell them to turn the lights back down, especially in the back area. I did not see the point in having the lights on that bright Sunday morning.
Thanks,
Tony

He's not kidding.
The lights have gotten brighter, and do need to be turned down.
Notion seconded.

hahahaha +1 The place itself is a sketchfest, we don't need more lights to confirm that!

Last time we were there they were bright and we went and asked the manager to turn them down and he did.

Just ask next time you're there.

the way it should be

When's the last time you were there?
They've been lighting the tourches in the dungeon area lately.
I don't like it.

The prisoners think they can escape when the lights are on.

Wouldn't the prisoners think they could escape better when the lights are turned off? I guess they're not really smart...and thus the reason they were caught in the first place!

Worm Popper

After speaking to Dale (the manager) regarding the lights he has informed me that they would like to make it a safer place (for the females). I guess security is more important than freaks hanging out in the corners.

Hmmm...well as much as I like the darkness, I think that's a pretty stand up thing to do.

I assume this is a reponse to the November incident.

While I agree they should strive to make it a safer place for females, the CZ is a differentiated product (from other clubs). I would hope they maintain its unique aspects (differentiation), otherwise they may lose revenue (people) should they become too standardized (like every other club). For example, turning the CZ into something like the after-eight day-club at stereobar in Montreal on Sundays mornings/afternoon I don't think would work very well in TO.

omg I didn't even read this thread but DO NOT turn the fucking lights on at the zone

Posted by Jem_hadar on Aug-08-2006 21:40:

the best part is that tony's asking hahaha

Posted by clyde on Aug-08-2006 21:43:

The lights are not going to be turned on ... they want to stop people from hanging around in the corners. I was there on Monday and didn't really notice much of a difference except in the isle. Everything still looks the same in the dance area's of the club.
