It's 'off key' as far as it changes key for 8 beats.

There isnt enough proper key changing in trance.

People talk about tracks changing key when the bass moves. Its stupid really, the track is still in the same key - unless it moves to to a note not in the home key (like in this sample).

Like in that John 00 Fleming interview - he keeps going on about it changing key when he moves the bass note down a tone. Its just stoopid really.

He's actually just moving to a different degree of the key he has chosen.

Heh, I thought that interview was a little silly too.

About the sample, it does sounds weird and off key.
But the track itself is very cool. Nice proggy beat.
You should finish it!

i am aware of the off key misstake now, you know after you listen to a loop again and again until you can't tell if it sucks or not

kinda embarassed i asked such a question about it LOL

but all this positive feadback made me consider completing this track
