RAPIDSHARE USERS BEWARE!!!! - Virus Alert

So today I am downloading some sets and one of the pop ups on Rapidshare gave me a virus. Yes, I am sure it was Rapidshare because I had nothing else open at the time besides TA.

The name of the virus is : TROJ_DLOADER.BKE

IT contaminated some of my files as well as installed adware and spyware such as some poker games, Mirar IE banner and pop up blocker, and Cowabanga.

My antivirus prog is still scanning and so far there are 11 infected files. This is a great concern if you are downloading from work due to the sensitivity of corporate materials being able to be leaked. I encourage everyone to keep they're pop up blockers ON at all times when downloading sets. Somehow this one slipped by mine

I also recommend getting an adware removal program and scanning your system just to be safe. Sometimes all of the applications do not show up in your ad/removal hardware section of the control panel. In addition to that check your c:/ drive/ program files for folders with weird program name that you do not recognize.

I got same virous the other day from a different site I was downloading from.

Always use a secure browser like Opera. Well actually Opera is the only secure browser, well in comparison to the other choices.
