Review: Andy Warhol Supernova at the AGO

Total uber worthwhile shit in there.

- 1947 White
- Elvis 1&2
- Jackie O elite

Get some culture assholes and check this exhibit out.

It's 20$ bucks (and worth it IMO) or you can go get a free ticket (while supplies last) I also highly highly recommend getting the listening headset (narrated by Cronenberg... awesome)

I went to this exhibition back in July. Its really good, I highly recommend checking it out.

I'm actually going for a second time tomorrow

For those of you that went, which ones were your favorites?

I liked the tragedy ones a lot. My favorites were "Red Disaster," "1947-White" and "Foot & Tire".

I love the small "Silence" sign in Red Disaster... gets so much across. And 1947-White oh man... at first I was unsure of what I was looking at... then after a while it started coming together and although it was so tragic and disturbing, it was elegant and calm. Great piece.

For anyone thats planning visiting this exhibition, I really recommend going through the exhibition without the audio first... get a good look at everything, take all the art work in, then listen to the guide. It always fun to let the art speak for itself, then listen to someone introduce it with facts and insight... by listening before hand, you loose that initial experience of discovering the piece for yourself.
