kimbo is a beast , the name of that future UFC fighter that beat him is Gannon. I've seen that fight and the reason he won is becuase he held Kimbo in an elevated headlock for over a minute which were not breaking the rules. And a serious headlock like that when applied to the neck can take anyone breath/stamina away. So in reality Gannon cheated by breaking the rules.

Except he didn't cheat as the rules appeared to state no ground submissions. Gannon had Kimbo in a standing guillotine choke before Kimbos posse jumped in. The rules also seem to state no kicking. I think its alot harder to knock out a guy that size than it is to make them tap - ESPECIALLY if youre a jujitsu master like Gracie. I could swear though, I thought he was gonna go for the triangle choke and not the triangle armbar.

i thought it was strictly called passive gogoplata, the non-choke version of a gogoplata
not to mention the pressure is on the shoulder socket, not on the elbow, thus, not being a "bar" submission.
armbar triangle is basically a the leg choke with an armbar at the same time.
can be achieved in conventional method such as from gaurd with full exension of the aggressors waist, creating distance to bend the defenders arm.
