BT as you've probably never seen him

Priceless video of BT doing an audio clinic. He's not tearing anything up musically- just doing what he loves to do- experimenting with music.

My favorite part of the video was the pan of the audience reaction to BT.

That was pretty damn wicked.

Posted by Nell on Aug-06-2006 02:42:

sorry but i thought that sounded completely wank.

i appreciate the power of ableton etc and have seen amazing things done befor eby BT and others, but that particular vid made is sound shit imo.

I like Ableton when used like this:

Posted by Ted Promo on Aug-06-2006 03:13:

The way Richie keeps cutting out the bass gets annoying. Other than that, neat.

And holy shit how cramped does his Ableton screen look. Jesus! There's a million samples and tracks ready there.

Way too much messing with EQ's imo.

Posted by Danny Ocean on Aug-06-2006 03:54:

I like how he teases with the bass and EQs. Might sound weird just looking at the video but im sure inside the club it sounds wicked. Not to mention is pretty fkn cool how much layering he does to the tracks.

I got respect for Richie but how could anyone dance to that?

Posted by Danny Ocean on Aug-06-2006 04:29:

You only saw 24 minutes of a 5 hour set. He picks it up brings it down picks it up again. Trust me, he threw quite a set.

The more people complain the more I'm compelled to keep it

I've seen him like that before...
same shitty haircut...

Posted by SMC on Aug-06-2006 07:18:

BT is amazing, love how he chops shit to pieces.

Posted by RapidFire on Aug-06-2006 07:21:

I've gotta see this man live before I die. shame he never comes to T.O..

Posted by A.J. on Aug-06-2006 08:38:

Agreee with Nell, it sounds far too random and all over the place. I guess he was trying to show off what it can do on the fly. Also it should be noted that in the video he is using the programwithout headphones, but it still sounds wank....

Because it works in the clubs? At home that sounds a bit annoying.

Posted by Branah on Aug-06-2006 13:12:

nice video but somehow I expected more It's the name BT you know...

Posted by swisstoni_uk on Aug-06-2006 17:52:

too many of you are thinking "that track sucked".

what you are not looking at is the techinal skills needed behind it.

thats what hes trying to show.

Exactly, he took crappy music and made it groovy.
