John 00 Fleming - Broadcast of 1 hour of his WEMF set

Ok I know this is blatent spam for here, but a lot of people in here dont go into the Radio thread in MD or into the tracklist forum and judging by the WEMF review thread you'd all like to know this.

So just a heads up that tomorrow night GMT an hour of his WEMF set will be broadcasted on his radio show, Global Trance Grooves.

2pm Toronto time according to this, but I dunno what your times are like over there, so check. GMT for the win

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclo...00&sec=0&p1=179

Anyway, heres a link to the Radio thread in MD with streams and more infos.

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...489#post6547489

A thread will also appear in the tracklist forum and I'll shove download links into your download thread after I get source copies of it from John.

Apologies for the spam, but Im sure WEMF goers would like to know this

How is this spam????? Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
I missed WEMF, but the only reason I would have went was to see Fleming, but now I can hear a part of the set anyways!

i had parts of WEMF on my radio show a few weeks ago...

woot! haha after the night he spun, i found out that i accidentally recorded his full set, along with the thrillseekers set. i had my recorder in my purse and must have turned it on at one point during the night...that was the best mistake i made in a long time!

believe it or not, it's pretty awesome! I guess because the recorder was in my purse, that kinda made the sound better. But when I was on the stage right beside the main speakers for J00F's set, it got a bit worse because it was way too loud.

Posted by geroin on Aug-07-2006 23:41:

thats sick, post it

Posted by me@t k@tie on Aug-07-2006 23:44:

here is the sad thing: it was one of those old recorders using a little tape thingy. I had to borrow it from the newspaper at the last minute (like 10 minutes before i came to WEMF). I was supposed to get a really good one from my friend at his radio station office but I had no time. so i can't really load it onto a computer. sowwie!

Posted by geroin on Aug-08-2006 00:47:

of course you could

I just converted two cassettes last week using dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dm.... It is freeware with restricted functionality. It can automatically tell when the song has ended based on the change in volume and then start recording to a new mp3.

I also used Audacity http://audacity.sourceforg... (a freeware audio editor) to edit and fix up any files afterward. To edit MP3's with Audacity you will need the LAME MP3 Encoder Library.

I used a male to male 1/8" audio jack that I bought from Radio Shack
http://www.radioshack.com/pr...to output from the headphone jack of the cassette player directly into the microphone jack on my computer.

Im sure you could load it onto a computer if you REALLY wanted to

**hint hint**

1/8" stereo headphone jack, plugged into your computers line in jack, and record.... its that easy......

then send to me so i can clean up the sound file and make a cue sheet and presto....

*edit* there are so many id's i need from the thrillseakers set and J00F's set.... so hurry up

Posted by me@t k@tie on Aug-08-2006 12:43:

ugh the pressure! hahaha...I will definitely see what I can do, but no promises

can't someone just come over and fix this stuff up for me?

Posted by *~LiSa-LoO~* on Aug-08-2006 13:02:

Totally hope the set is ripped so I can hear it.

I was listening to 2hp last week and there was a John 00 Fleming set from a couple years ago and I was LOVING it! It took all my stregth to stop myself from getting up out of my chair and dancing.

Download thread tomorrow or Thursday, as soon as I get high quality files from John

What set was 2hp playing out of interest?

@Colonel - Listening to the videos people posted I should know 90% of Joofs tracks, so you'll get your IDs
