New Vanguard Soundset from SOUNDS-OF-REVOLUTION.com

Hi ! Our brandnew soundset "REVOLUTION VANGUARD - Part 3" is available !

The feedback of many big name producers about our first two vanguard sets was overwhelming !!!
So we decided to programm a 3rd & last Vanguard set to complete our famous trilogy !

The 3rd part is really different...far away from the "standard" Vanguard sets on the market.
It contains highly exclusive patches which cover a vast spectrum of electronic music styles.

It comes with xxxtreme experimental stuff & complex sounds you never heard before.

We pushed the Vanguard to its limits ! - It's surely the highlight of our trilogy !

There are two mp3 demos available (HiFi & LoFi)

Have fun & happy producing !

Greets !

nothing special!

honestly and i'm NOT trying to be offensive, i didn't hear one sound that grabbed me...

Posted by Eldritch on Aug-09-2006 09:06:

I think it sounds pretty cool.

Posted by Derivative on Aug-09-2006 11:51:

I found alot of those sounds interesting in a brooding, atmospheric kind of way. Shame its Vanguard though...

Either way it beats the holy shit out of churning out another 128 patches consisting of nothing but detuned saws. DOH.

I must say, I like this new bank a whole lot more than the other 2 (or the soundclips anyways ). It's not very trancy, but very atmospheric, I like it. It's something I haven't heard from Vanguard before... but it still has that extremely annoying "Vanguard Sound". I tell you, I'm not a gear snob, and I can hardly ever distinguish what synths are used in music (apart from a TB-303 maybe ), but every time I hear something with Vanguard, I just KNOW: "yup, thats Vanguard..."

Posted by BOOsTER on Aug-10-2006 02:43:

I don't like one thing about this...and I'm not going to bother listening the demos...

I didn't ever see you making a usefull topic...you're just spamming with your products nothing more.

and yes Icone does send his offers too...but he's an active member of the community...

what are you?

Spamming L'lama...

This does seem like spam, but the demo has some really nice sounds. My favorite is probably the ambient one from about 2:34 to 2:44. Too bad I don't have Vanguard.

You guys crack me up.

You give no mercy to anyone

How the hell is this spam? spam is the endless repetition of posts/replies/something. Hence the Monty Python sketch - SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM. I dont see this endlessly repeated here.

To be more accurate, it seems like an unsolicited ad in the form of a post by someone who does not post often at the board.

[Sometimes also called "spam," since e-mail filters which block advertiser e-mails are often called "spam filters."]

It has the repeditive feature if we let these guys do it.. then every soundbank maker will follow and start to post his ads on here...

then.. SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM!

Icone as a respected, constructive and helpful member of our little community deserves a exemption or at the very least.. a little slack.

yeah, sure making excptions for friends is real nice way to handle a forum. and i rather see this "spam" than some of the most stupid questions ive ever seen. the guy is just trying to make a living, dont have to be rude ( i mean d.... heads)

Point taken. But. My email filter blocks annoying stuff that I dont want or need - like pills that make you ejaculate buckets of sperm and fleshlights.

Maybe if I posted regularly on a sex masturbation fetish forum - it would'nt be so bad. It would be kind of appropriate there.

I mean this guy is advertising soundsets in a music production forum. How is that something that a theoretical forum spam filter would typically block? I imagine alot of people on this forum want to know about new soundsets or sample sets or sample cds or new synths. I only dont bother with this one because its Vanguard but some people like Vanguard. so its cool.

Its not like this guy is being annoying about it either - he is being quite polite and restrained. If this dude was advertising a sample CD for TR-808/909 samples I would be all over it.

Now. If this guy was advertising a bottle of pills called 'pills of the penis revolution' that makes your old man projectile vomit double cream (ONLY $9.99 WHILST STOCKS LAST. LIMITED SUPPLY CALL NOW) then I would get where you are coming from.

This is not spam dammit. This is some guy showing off some decent sounds.

Posted by BOOsTER on Aug-10-2006 17:31:

if I were rude, I would use some F-words...I guess what i said was just polite rating of what is going on here...

and in no way I deserved to be called d-head...so shut up junior, thanks

i agree with u man. it is hard enough to make a living out of the underground music business, and then get bothered by gutless wanabees hiding behind their cpu monitor.

Yeah, it's hard to draw a sharp line between spam and useful posts letting you know about things you might want.

I suspect people might be more inclined to consider this spam if the sounds were crap instead of the good ones they are.

Evil1

why would anyone need a sound bank for any synth when you could make your own patches yourself

Posted by pixxxan on Aug-11-2006 02:22:

why would anybody be bothered by the way other people make music?

Posted by LENG on Aug-11-2006 02:25:

i don't mind using other people's patches if they're helpful...

Posted by Jason_R on Aug-21-2006 08:30:

It's not amazing but I'll get the second soundset as I like that first pad sound.

I think soundsets are very usefull to us still learning synths as unlike a sample we can see exacly how it is made and learn to do it ourselves.

Posted by Bedlam-UK on Aug-22-2006 15:15:

wOOt 35 euro's to turn my knobs...you gotta be kidding !!

if 35 euro's includes the actual synth vangaurd too then I will order today.
