Monkey Dancer 2 Was that wrong of me?????

A guy I work with left his computer unlocked and on. It doesn't go to screensaver and whatever is displayed stays on there for the whole world to see. Everyone walks by his desk. I could not resist opening a browser and going to monster.com, selecting jobs and leaving it there.

Was that wrong?

Hell no, that's why they make you lock your workstation.

My friend once left his workstation unlocked and I replaced his Citibank desktop wallpaper with a My Little Pony wallpaper and slowed down his mouse speed...he learned his lesson.

He was a fool to place trust in his coworkers. That should serve as a lesson that territory must be at all times defended, or be exploited by the ravening masses.

one of my neighbors is a professional programmer one guy in the office was always wasting time playing Solitare, so one day when this guy forgot to lock his computer my neighbor went over and ran a little program he had written that re-programmed the game so that it WOULD NOT CLOSE, he disabled the windows log off/shut down functions, and made it so that Solitare would automatically start up whenever someone logged on windows (in case you tried to unplug/restart), then maximize itself, and disable all other buttons/commands besides playing the game. That guy got delt pretty hard if you ask me.

At college we'd always change people's backgrounds or internet homepages to goatse and lemonparty, or draw penises on the pictures that they had set as their background, if people left the room with their computer unlocked. Fun times.....

The only other thing I have ever done that was that bad was send out an email to the company speaking in first person as the person whose computer I'm on.

"To all my colleagues. There are some things about my 'dark side' that I think you should know."

I also copied the 'victim' on the email. To watch the blood just run out of his face and turn pale white was extaordinary

I went into the office the other day, turned on my workstation, logged in etc. Went to open a program and the mouse wasn't working. So first thing I did was get behind the computer to check the cable. Well it was unplugged so searched for the mouse cable and find there's a piece of paper wrapped around it. I unwrap it and all it says is "pwnd."

From good ol' Bash:

So, at the LAN-party, there was a new guy.
And when he went for a drink, we snuck up to his pc, and created a folder called Horse-Porn on the desktop.
Then we took a screenshot, put it as his wallpaper, and deleted the folder.
He tried to get rid of that folder for 3 hours! ^^

one of my co-workers left his laptop unlocked and had his messenger name changed to something stupid.

He in return caused the other guys laptop to lag 2mins and added himself as administrator so he could further fuck w/ him. It took the other guy 2min each day to log on to his computer.
