TA's in Hamilton
Wow, I'm beginning to notice that there are quite a few people on here from Hamilton. Just wanted to get a feel of how many of us there are and who those people are. So, if you're a fellow Hamiltonian (or live in the surrounding area), expose yourself. There are actually quite a large number of party people in Hamilton yet the city doesn't have a scene. We definitely need a trance club.

I live in the Creek and go to Mohawk. Hamilton has a lot of things that Toronto people don't have. you know.......HESS IN THE SUMMER

Yeah, we should set up an MSN group. Anywayz, don't know about places that make t-shirts and have to agree with you about Hess village in the summer........it's awesome!!! Did you know that apparently, Mermaid's Lounge plays Hard House and breaks on Tuesday nights?
I'm in Hamilton too, 3rd year mac. I occasionally see a flyer that mentions a Trance at Cyrus or Home but it is a rarity and I have never checked either place out. Hess is cool, especially in summer. Certainly sucks that there is no scene here at all 
I'm also in Hamilton / Stoney Creek.

Yeah, HOME sucks and Fever sucks now too, especially since they don't play trance anymore. I really want to check out Cyrous. Heard it's pretty good on Saturdays. If anyone goes, let me know asap and tell me if it's worth going.
I am also interestedin checking out Cyrus. We should have a Hamilton TA meet up sometime.

Hess has a nice atmosphere in the summer, but thats about it in my opinion for Hamilton.....I went to Syndicate once when it was open, but I wasn't really impressed, maybe it was just me!?

HERE'S ONE U HAVEN'T HEARD
I WENT TO THE RE-OPENING OF PEPPER JACK'S NEXT TO FEVER TWO MONTHS AGO. IT WAS A PRIVATE PARTY FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEK I WENT. I REALLY LIKED THE PLACE. THE PLACE IS NOT A JUMPIN PLACE BUT DIFFERENT. THE DJ WAS PLAYING REMAKES OF OLD 70'S TUNES. NOT DISK LIKE .....CHILLOUT/FUNK. LOTS OF BONGOS AND HORNS WHICH I LIKE. THERE ARE TWO POOL TABLES UPSTAIRS AND IT IS VERY NICE WITH THE FIREPLACE. I WENT ONCE AGAIN WHEN I THINK IT WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC BUT EVERONE JUST CROWDS TO FEVER. FEVER HAS DONE CRAZY PUBLICITY AND IT IS NOW JUNK!! WHO OUT THERE REMEBER'S BACK IN THE MID NITIES WHEN THE FAR SIDE HIP-HOP ROOM USED TO BE TECHNO. NOT DANCE TECHNO???? BERY FEW FOR SURE. PEPPER JACK IS A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE LADIES AND HAVE A GAME OF POOL AND CHILL.

Speedracer, I just sent you a PM. Whoever wants to check out Cyrous, let me know cuz then we could arrange a TA meetup. One problem, where is it? I know it's downtown and used to be called DropZone but where downtown? Any ideas?

i never heard of Cyrous; it would be interesting to check out though, have a trance place to hangout at in Hamilton
Yeah I know, it would be cool. I have a question: is there anyone from Hamilton (or surrounding area) who plans on checking out Cyrous some time soon? I probably won't check it out until April. I don't want to go if it's getting bad reviews. Anyone want to volunteer to check it out this weekend or before the end of March?
I hope to hit up Cyrus before exams arrive so if so I'll let everyone who wants know what it's like. Also, I was flipping through some radio stations and heard an advertisement for a club in HAmilton and in the background they were playing a Mauro Picotto (Moving Proximus I think) track. I was thinking damn..if their playing this stuff I gotta go but I missed the name! 
It ended with Lounge..could it be mermaid's lounge..but I thought they said upper lounge or something..I'm a tool, I should have caught that.
What year/program are all you mac students from?
I'm from Grimsby but that's still pretty close to Hamilton. I would love to join all of you but alas, I'm only 18

Arcticboy, it's about time you posted in here. Too busy socializing with the Montreal TA's are we? I saw some of your posts in there. Where have you been? We still have to party together.
Oh, and I heard of some new club in Hamilton - called Up Lounge but you have to dress to impress so I'm assuming it's one of those "gino" bars?
