phone for 150 bucks...

ok so in 5 days my contract with verizon ends.. and my parents allready signed a contract with verizon for the next year...


so i can get a phone for cheaper because of the 1 year agreement they signed.


i can get a 150 dollar phone.... the rz0r v3m or wtvr is 150...


what other phones are the same price range and cool.. i saw a couple in the store but they had a limited selection. any help? if u do come up witha good phone for the same price.. hoook up a description and a pic

Depends if you want a 3g phone or not. The motorola v3, v3x, and v3i are nice looking phones but aren't the most reliable. You'll be lucky to have them last a year. If anything, I would go for a Sony Ericsson w810i. It's not 3g but it looks so damn sexy. That or the nokia n80.

what is a 3g? does nokia sell phones to verizon?

get a "free" phone with plan then buy an unlock on ebay or from the series of tubes

A: those aren't $150
B: those aren't CDMA, so they don't work with Verizon
C: 3G is the high speed network that allows you to get broadband speeds on your phone, but it's only really worth it unless you get a PDA or smartphone, all of which will cost you more than $150, plus another $25-$45 per month
D: Go with the V3M or the LG VX8300
E: Do NOT get the Chocolate.

I'm a nokia whore, i've had 5 phones, 4 of which were nokia, i went for a diff one once & changed back quickly, it just didn't do what i wanted!

GSM here is shite. Thus, Nokia/SE isn't as much of an option.

Also coming to the end of my contract and very much like the look of the LG White Chocolate.

Or the Nokia N70 or N93.

Well, about point C, it's not quite broadband speed. And there are some other advantages. But at the moment they are pretty much just novelty value unless your really into using your tech to the max.

I too have noticed almost all phones nowaday are shockingly bad. They either look like crap clones of one another. Or look cool, but have a terrible spec.

My favs at the moment are the Samsung P300, or Nokia N93.

Motorola FTL. i can't wait to get rid of my V551.

Samsung are alright!
