I can understand if your that type of person who wants to have the authentic albums...

but i rather download em...

anyone have a irc channel that serves trance music albums?

I want to listen the trax first on mp3, and if i like'em, i go to the record store and buy the album to support the artist. If i don't like'em, i just delete the mp3s..

Yup that would be me - theres nothin like buying a CD from a shop and coming home and listenin to it - dont know why i feel that way

But also I have 56K connection which means its hard for me to download complete Ablums - so far I have got Magik 6&7 and Tranceport, but I have bought loadsa more CDs

Ditto...nothing's worse than paying full price for a CD to find out the only song (or two songs) you like are the only good ones on the CD....until the Internet....THAT SUCKED!!!!!!!

Example: Definately going to pick up The Chemical Brothers new one.

I have about 200 authentic albums on my collection (and I'm only 18 )...

I have bought truely shite albums because I've bought them based on 1 track I've heard off it...

I buy all my cd's, only ever downloaded 1 or 2, where I live the virgin megastores offers a listen before u buy service - give the guy behind the till the cd u wanna listen to, he puts into a player and plays that cd through a listening point, u like it u buy it, u hate it u walk, simple ehh?

i use to have a LOT of cds... (like... 600)... but then my mom threw em all out after columbine... about 3 months later i got a cd burner... and i've only bought about 15 cds sense then... but i have over 1200 cds now... =oP and i only have a 56k... so... shows how much of a life i really have...

usually if i know something is going to be quality then i buy it, even if i havent previously downloaded off the internet. There are true gems out there that just have to be bought, for example:

Yoshiesqe 1 and 2
in search of sunrise 2
adam freeland tectonics

so yeah lately ive just been buyiong and buying its realyl cool, the inlays and the little booklets are awesome. Plus i get to know who wrote each track, when it was released and i also get to know who the artist likes to thank....

I dont really want to spend money on CDs but sometimes i think its good to support my fav DJs ..

Basically, im not a cheapass. Hahaha, nah im on 56k and only download livesets, i've downloaded the odd album but thats only the ones that i cant find or something that i really really want ie: Armin van Buurens 001, 002, 003 series and Tiesto's Magik series.

In my mind, there's nothin better than holding the real thing in your hand. There's often cool shit to read as well ie: Don Phillip's thoughts in the Global Underground series.

Only problem is im only 15 and cant afford to buy lotsa cd's (although i just got a job hhehe) But i've drawn up a list of 30 cd's to buy... all adds up to about $800 so i have some saving to do

Seriously though, the last CD I bought was the Human Traffic soundtrack, and we all know how old that movie is hehehe

But I have a reason for it - I use a minidisc player for portable audio, and pre-recorded MDs in Australia are rarer than E's at a pensioner's picnic. So I download awesome livesets and trance tracks, chuck em onto MD and proceed to give everyone else on the bus/train something to listen to

I download new tracks to see what I think, but rarely download albums....
I buy way too much music, but still, I think some people here should buy a bit more.
