a little Safri Duo sound you got here, but only the bongos ofcourse.. the bass is nice..

the lead melody is cool.. i like it.. but i think the bongos could be a bit more subtle in the mix. nice stuff indeed.

Sounded Good.

Bongos at the beginning seemed a bit loud or maybe too much of some frequency range. Love the kick a lot. Everything was cool, but the melodies I didn't find interesting. Sounded almost like Tilt - the world doesn't know, with safri duo bongos.

thanks for the feedback. ill fix the volume of the bongos.

sounds very good mate, i liked the intro effects, ive to agree on that safri duo thing it sounds very similar. the break at 3:10 is nice but its a bit empty imo... maybe add some more pads or effects? dunno just a suggestion. i love that melody/synth at 3:50. the buildup is nice and the intro isnt boring at all. i find the way you introduce makes your tracks original. keep it up, hopefully youll get some released soon.

hey..
sounds good mate...
i think there should be a little delay on bongo and also variate them as it gets too monotonus after some time.
everything llz sounds cool.
good job

Hey there,

First up, you might want to bring the bongos down just a little.. but they do work nicely and don't smother the overall mix too much anyway. You could get creative with them and make them more of a feature in the breakdown.

The bassline is just a simple on/off solution and it would be nice if you dedicated a bit more time to introduce some more complexity to it that would give the track some more drive.

The precussion needs some more elements.

Generally speaking you have a nice and crisp mix there but it still sounds like the shell of a track that's waiting to be finished.

Good job so far though.

Cheers

Really nice tune mate, the melodies and chord progression are beatiful. The arrangement works nicely and the synth sounds are really good too.
This could be a real killer of a tune if the rolling bassline was beefed up slightly, it sounds a bit soft and distant, instead of something that really drives along the song. The bongos are nice but as said a little on the dominant side.
The first bassline change up is a killer, really grabs my attention every time. The ambient fx are awesome too, they seem to tell a story..

listing now, like all your tracks ive listened to quality, loving the way the baseline changes etc

I think the bassDrum is to loud!:.. and it could need some mastering!:.
But otherwise I like it!... but cut the bongos!:. heh

And you could have the bass alittle lower!-- =)

thanks for the replies. some great pointers which i used. unfortunately for me i just installed a plug in and the damn thing wiped out all my vst's so ive lost all my sounds in the track.

going to have to load sounds in from scratch now. looks like an update on it is a while away.

thanks again though!

Hey mate,

Listened to the track. It is good to hear that you know really have a solid build up and the track really develops nicely into the breakdown. The bassline that comes on top of the simple bassline is quite nice.

The track still sounds a bit amateuristic though. Your percussion needs beefing up. Just a bongo and a hihat won't really give you the fullness to the track. The bongoline itself is rather simple. If u give it some delay it would already sound fuller. Just listen to some of the big epic producers out there and here. How they progress from breakdown into the main section and how full and energetic a track sounds then. A good lead is important but the energy and fullness usually come from good percs and bass.

The leadnotation and melody however are pretty nice again. I enjoyed the leadsection.

The ideas in this track are good, you have managed to get a track with a solid structure and build up and a good melody going which is a big improvement compared to some of your previous tracks I heard. Now focus on the details: more percussion, a better placement of the sounds in the mix and better eq'ing (the track sounds mudded and lacks clarity)

Cheers mate you are making more and more progress!
