Star Wars II - Full Trailer comin'!!

This Sunday, March 10, the public will get their first look at the full trailer for Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones as it airs on FOX television in America and also is posted to the Official Star Wars website, starwars.com. The trailer will begin playing theatrically on March 15, exclusively with the animated feature Ice Age, and other films thereafter.

"With this trailer, we start to look at the story and the state of the galaxy in Episode II," says Lucasfilm�s VP of Marketing, Jim Ward. "It sets the stage for what�s about to happen and how the characters are involved. We find out that the Republic is on the brink of war, and the Jedi are overburdened in trying to hold everything together."

The two-and-a-half minute trailer culminates with glimpses of some of the largest action sequences ever found in a Star Wars movie. Entitled "Clone War," this trailer begins to lift the veils of secrecy surrounding the mysterious Clone Wars first mentioned -- but never elaborated upon -- in the original A New Hope in 1977.

"In Episode II, we�re going to see the Jedi in action like we�ve never seen them before," says Ward. "We�re going to see hundreds of Jedi, hundreds of lightsabers, thousands of clones, in a huge battle. The trailer gives just a hint of what�s to come."

The trailer airs on FOX this Sunday between original episodes of "Malcolm in the Middle" (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) and "The X-Files" (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

yeah, i'm pumped..i remember watching the B trailer to the Phantom Menace at least 100 times before the movie came out.

can't wait for BLADE 2 and SPIDER-MAN also.

its trailer C. Big movies always have more than one preview/trailer made. Like I said, the last Star Wars had 2 versions and second one kicked ass!

those aren't trailers.. that are teasers..
the diffence... i don't know.. (but if said that the official trailer must come out then they don't mean those teasers! )

YOu know what? I was so pumped about Episode 1 that I was a little disappointed when I finally saw it...I guess I shouldn't expect too much. So this time around I'm not gonna get myself too pumped up.

it was somewhat, i agree. i dont really know what i wouldve expected tho - it looks better than the last one, but only time will tell. there were some parts that looked reminiscent of episode one, hopefully thats not bad...late/

I missed the 1st min. flippin' around trying to find FOX (the TV channel)
I did get to record the last minute and a half though...

i kind of liked it but the music wasn''t too great imo (i kinda liked the opera thingy better.. ) and there are too much special effects if you ask me! hope that this time they also make sure that the acting is better (episode 1 => acting TERRIBLE!!)..

there was too much to take to absorb on the first viewing but some things i noticed upon repeated viewings...
Some dude says "they are using a bounty hunter name Jongo Fett (Boba's father?) you then see this Jongo shooting lasers at a Jedi.
Palpatine creates a huge Republic Army of Mandalorians!
At the end you see a Jedi (Obi-Wan?) dueling Senator Palpatine or Anakin with TWO light sabers. and if u watch the clone war at the ending you see about 10 Jedi's surrounded by the Republican Army.

was this palpatine? i didnt check really closely, but i assumed it was anakin - being that palpatine isnt a jedi, as far as i know.

as for the CGI, its nice that Lucas can realize his whole vision or whatever, but there was a certain charm in real world environments...i hope the whole movie isnt like watching the friggin war with Jar jars people on Naboo...late/

you're prolly right..its most likely Anakin dueling Obi-Wan. And its more like a DOZEN Jedi's surrounded by clones at the ending.

yeah the problem is, you don't know of it's the real obi-wan or the clone!! , my brother already guest that they would be such a episode when there was anounced that there would be prequals.. something to do with the name of obi-wan-kenobi .. should ask him again what he ment though!
