This is why I don't order equipment online/overseas... the only thing I buy is CD's from a shop in Germany... And even that gets here in a rather timely fashion...

i remember when my Denon X1500 arrived... i was dancing up and down just seeing the UPS truck come up. My friends were arriving to hang out and just sooooo happy that i told them to leave, cuz i needed personal time with my new mixer

I order a some stuff on July 27 from AudioMidi, it arrived to Miami the 8th of August. However, the company that then ships the product to El Salvador is slow as hell. Supposed to arrive next week, but they always lie to me. It has been in Miami just sitting there for 2 weeks

especially tracking services that are slow-as-hell at updating..

and i hate sellers that take their sweet time getting your gear in the mail... that's just disrespectful your customers imho. Getting the gear in the mail more than one business day after the purchase is just sloppy.

eBay sellers are notorious for this

when I bought a kaoss pad I went to pick it up at the post office near work, on the way saw two 1200's for less than half the price I'd ever seen them for. Was using crap tt's at the time which i sold for more than the tech's cost me.
I ended up back at work with 2 new tt's and kp2 sitting on my desk all afternoon, laughing at me. no overtime was worked that night.

i HATE big transaction on ebay. even if it is from a reputable seller, i still get nervous and always think that they are going to rip me off
