Definately diggin this set 'botron. Probably my favorite mix of yours, even if you're the 1000th person to spin mother's health. Also, i just got bit by a fire ant.

Alright, got to listen through it yesterday.

The first thing I noticed was that you did a lot more work with layering different tracks, and it worked in varying degrees. There were some parts where it worked really well (I still can't find the mix between Call The TUne and Virke), but there were other spots where it just didn't work melodically (between CvS and Les Djins).

As always you have a rediculous ability to gather tracks that work really well together. The only track I felt didn't fit was Hypnotized, which sucks cuz I love that track. Just didn't feel like it worked well where it was.

My favorite tracks were Call The Tune (or Virke I'm not sure which it is) and Eve By Day. Did you play that at Ravens?? It took me a while to get into with the bass and some percussion being in 6/8 and the other percussion being in 4/4, but its still got a cool groove.

All in all I didn't dig it as much as I Hate Computers, but it's still a super solid mix. Nice work man.

btw, I think I played Superlicious about 5 minutes before you showed up at Rob's a few weekends ago. I love that track.

Thanks for the lengthy review Virke plays basically from the beginning looping of of Call the Tune through Hypnotized, so it's not necessarily it's own track but just used to complement the other two. I thought the CvS / Les Djinns one was a bit questionable but I didn't want to throw out the whole thing because of that. Also the 6/8 vs 4/4 mix into Eve By Day is still bugging me a little bit but this mix was more for fun / musical enjoyment than anything else. And yes I played it at Ravens

Looking forward to the next Hamptons mix!

sometimes the layer of tracks didn't quite work for me (i.e. i wanted to blast spinache disko) but still nice work

I love the third track of this mix too. In fact to be honest, I like them all. Ever since the bbq "Hypnotized" has been a fav of mine as well
