Be Cool! Yah Mon!

Nice set Brooks. Enjoyed this set but only (IMO), that track at 54 mins. in, hhmmmm, didn't seem to fit with the rest of the tracks. AHHH, maybe I'm crazy. Keep up those good sets dude.

Pretty good mix once again!! Mixing is prety tight throughout and the tune selection is very good. Only let down again was the structure!! The mixes builds a little to quickly imo and therefore drops off after 'Static Blue - Under The Sea'. It then starts to build up again after 'Kenneth Thomas - Ghost In The Machine (Abbott & Chambers remix)' only to drop again after 'Cosmic Gate - Race Car Driver' make this tune feel well out of place. Imo this tune would of been better left out.

Using the tunes you have used i probably would of constructed it something like this!!

1. Gouryella - Ligaya (Luke Terry's Reworked Intro Mix)
2. Fire & Ice - Para Siempre
3. Kenneth Thomas - Ghost In The Machine (Abbott & Chambers remix0
4. Mike Koglin vs Mark Pledger - Ultraviolet
5. Tillman Uhrmacher - Free (A98 remix)
6. Falkon & Nebula - So lost (Under Sun remix)
7. P.H.A.T.T. - Worlds Apart (R.B vocal edit)
8. Mike Shiver - Morning Drive
9. Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine
10. Sunny Lax - Mira (Daniel Kandi remix)
11. Insigma - Open Your Eyes (Sean Tyas remix)
12. Static Blue - Under The Sea
13. Cosmic Gate - Race Car Driver

Anyway tune of the mix for me has to be 'Falkon & Nebula - So lost (Under Sun remix) which i thought was awesome!!

Also where did you pick these up from?

Gouryella - Ligaya (Luke Terry's Reworked Intro Mix)
Sunny Lax - Mira (Daniel Kandi remix)

Thanks for the feedback people, and yeah the Under Sun remix is fantastic...

As for structure you are probably right, I try to change things up during the mix a bit more, rather than just picking tunes so they flow better, each to their own though.. Ill try and work on that.

Sunny lax I got on promo from Anjuna. Luke Terrys remix is in the productions forum on here

anyone else had a chance to listen?

I've got it on my PC at work and on CD in the car. This is another fine mix. However, I will say that I'm simply sold on Above The Storm. The first 5 tracks of that set just blow me away. Perfect, atmospheric trance, as you said. I plan on watching the sun rise to that mix Saturday morning, actually! I'm looking forward to Above The Storm 2!

7.5/10
This mix is better than your previous effort becuase, first of all, I liked more of the tracks on here better and also the way you opened up the mix. That was a nice touch there with the intro track. One major complaint I have is the progression. To be frank it felt random. I think you know better than I do how to correct this flaw for your next mix. Simply put, take more time in learning a track's ups and downs or as metatron puts it -dynamics. In other words, don't spin tracks which you haven't been accustomed to yet. Thanks for this set and as always trance on mister!

I really liked this mix. Although the progression can be an issue for some it wasn't for me because all the tracks were great. If this was a mix where I didnt know most of the tunes then I would like progression to keep me interested but as I know a lot of these tunes he could have played them backwards and still kept me interested.

I like it!

Cheers Paul! Sorry to take a while to reply, been away, and yes I am quite lazy with progression sometimes . . but the thing I like to do is get the best tracks (imo) into the mix, no fillers, all thrillers!
