collaborations

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone in LA would be interested in working on a track together. I am good with logic , have a virus TI, and currently stuying at SAE LA to get more in depths with the engineering part of producing. I would like to collaborate with another person who shares the same passion (creating dance music -mostly trance) because i think the sky is the limit if 2 great minds think alike. If anyone is interested please pm me. Ive been trying to get a hold of azndragon0613 however cant seem to reach him.

I'd be willing to collab with someone in the Monterey bay area, I have a TI, JP-8000, and an analogue Waldorf Pulse hooked up to an analogue EQ that can give it some wicked distortion.. You just have to either be a good keyboard player, decent cubase user, or good synth programmer.

Tiesto's looking for a collaboration too. Must be willing to make music entirely by yourself.

true, very important to be able to make musice by yourself... however it is always good to welcome another person and get more creative juices flowing. Some of the best works come from collaborations.

I guess the only thing I ask for is someone who is very creative and has the similar style or ideas that I have in what is a good "trance" track. Personally I do not like to limit myself to just 1 type of sound. Sometimes I like to do a prog trance track and maybe slow the bpm down to 132 but still have that great vibe such as andy moor's work. Sometimes I like to work on a great breakbeat track... and other times its a beautiful melody or maybe peak time club ripper. If you are around my level I would definetly like to crank out some songs for fun and we can sit down to talk about how we would like to aproach this. Let me post up a few of my tracks to show my "level" I think 1 thing we are afraid of in collaborations is that the partner maybe is not as experienced or on the same skill level as you yet, but if 2 great minds can come together... I believe that the work done could be much better than just pumping out tracks by yourself.

Here is a track im currently working on right now. There is a lot of headroom for mastering purposes, and I havent fixed the bass on it yet. Also havent completely eq/mix it so its stil in its rough sketch form, however this is usually my musical taste.

Hmm is this because what you envisioned the track to come out to be didnt happened and it went somewhere in left field? Or because the other partner was lazy / not good at all.

Here is my finished work, currently in the process of searching for lablels.

This one is not melody , more of a straight club banger /peak time.
