[psy-tech..maybe] Wolf Tech - No name yet [192 kbps complete]
Hi again...
At the moment I'm feeling productive, and willing to explore for me new territories in trance. First time trying to make something that maybe can be called psy-tech...don't know.
Anyhow, I would be glad to hear if this is something worth while working on or if I should let it go. If you have suggestions on mastering (which I find a bit difficult at times) I'll be more then happy.

Your friendly ghost of Mozart
OK...
In my opinion this has the potential to be reeeeaaaaly good. Don't know much about mastering so can't give you any advice in that area....sorry.
Keep it up and YYEESS.. finish it.

The bass is really undefined, and muddy. Give it some snap and shorten the sounds a bit.
I like the liquidy chord progression.
Break is neat.
I think mostly, your problems are just in keeping your low end tight. It 's hard to do, but it's important.
Been working all night to make things better (or so I think
)
New link at top...
Still listening to comments (as always)

see you friday...

Tried the best I could and think both bass sounds better and that the mastering of the low end is a bit tighter... ????

I might suggest continuing with the break drums after 4:48 when the base drum kicks in, i would make a faster pattern using the same samples put some swilrling effect on top chope them up so they sound glitchy and morphe them in with the break. it might sound cool. also at 3:00 drums break some weird detuned synths in the back ground (something like improvisation)would would make it interesting.

normally psy is not my world, but i'll give this a try from the technical site...
kick is too ploppy imo..it needs msome more lows...
the little acid-synthy which plays from the beginning sounds cool...
maybe you could add some more hats to have some more variation in percussion...
part around 3 mins is cool...maybe you could add also some more percussion-elements in here to have more drive in it...
to the track itself i cant say much...this is really not my style...

Hey Mate,
The low ends in your track really are a problem. The lack of bass in the track makes the track feel quite empty. I quite like the acid riffs that you have, the breakbeatsection is also quite cool. I think if you let a sawbass play whole bars in a nice chordprogression you will already get a bit more warmth in the low ends.
Other than that I like the way you go from style to style in this track and you build it from psy to proggy trance.
Few other pointers for your up and coming tracks:
- Get a better kick sample
- Use more percussion in your track. Just a hihat and the kick won't do when everything is playing.
- GEt more of a bass going
Good luck mate!
