-- samples from new track
samples from new track
Well, I kind of moved on to a new track and decided to stop working on my first one.
Heres two versions of my second track (I didnt add any pans or anything, this is just a test of synths)
Sample 1
Sample 2
Any comments on melody construction or synths or drums is always welcome =]
well I'm no expert at drum tracking but I do think the kick/snare is muddy and overall eq in both samples needs major work. no speration in any of the instruments and all fighting for the same high frequency range.
Im not too sure how I would EQ each sample, Im using FLP studio. Like I said before this is my second track Ive ever made so Im pretty new to this stuff. Would be awesome if you could explain this EQ thing to me. Im just guessing, but does that mean where each sample takes up its own frequency range? And does it have to do something with the dB Meter?
not bein cheeky mate but do a wee search on either yahoo or on this forum, i asked the same question and posted a sample and got bad responses!!
sounds muddy and cluttered but im only new to it all to....not a bad idea though...
