-- The loudest subwoofer?
The loudest subwoofer?

anyone ever use one?
http://www.servodrive.com/basstech7.html
2 in my room please
*drools*
what a great way to piss off your neighbors
Couldn't find a price, how much does this bad girl cost?
Be interested in seeing a polar pattern. i think I'd prefer a Nexo system. (quiter stage sound)
There's an even bigger subwoofer in Italy. But it's custom built into the floor of a house. Seems to be low power but very efficient. For an audiophile's music / home theatre system. Lots of pictures at the link:

k now thats just some plain crazy s*hit;
Hey check this thing out...

Its a rotary wolfer that has a freq range of 0-30Hz @ 110 dB
cant really hear that low but you sure as hell can feel it.
damn...rotary subwoofers... *scratches back of head*
Does that rotary thing literally just blow like a normal fan, but in time with an audio signal?

the basstech 7 is a very neat bassbin. four of them will be louder than 10 double 18" bassbins!!! with an 8th of the power.
the top dog bassbin at the moment is made by the same designer of the basstech 7. it is called the 'lab subwoofer' - lab being 'live audio board' - there are plans on how to build this mammoth! but it uses 4 big 8'x4' sheets of plywood i think! others to look at are the bassmaxx by rhino acoustics. all are the absolute best in bass!
and i belive the basstech 7 is over 3000 each.
The rotary thing works and works well it will shake your walls easily. It usese a voice coil and rotates the fan blades so they move in conjuction with the voice coil.
Folded horns rule! 18" ported cabinets suck balls.
Holy Shit!
ever since i was a kid, i was always like, y don't they make subs with fans. Some really heavy bass comes out of the pedal fans...
some ******s stole my idea
turbosound's aspect is pretty loud to
edit, the subbass isn't that impressive i see, so nevermind
Bassxaxx B Zero. I had read awhile ago on the PSW live audio board when they did a sub shoot out that the baxxmaxx sub was the winner. I don't know if they have done another shootout latley, that was what i remember reading at the time. On that message board it is alot pro sound guys who do large sound systems for national touring acts.
