I still want to know where the hell is "The Wound" -From Henrik B.

I've wanted that track for months now...

Sounds good though... not his norm tho... "Overrun" sounds nice.

Nice release indeed. Airwalk is beautiful although it sticks to the Prydz sound very close. Overun is different with its fat electrohouse bassline and makes a perfect b-side to Airwalk.

If you like the Pryda Friends sound thusfar, you'll like this.

don't like it, i have liked henrik b's most (tech)housey offerings (because he has done a fair share of that) but this just sound bad, hate to use a cliche line, but this is a bit bandwagonish.

Like the Wound right???!?!?!

I wish I could find it...

i was thinking more on the lines of the some of the stuff he released on zync and on placktown sounds and also his remix of j.axel's love letters

Kinda agree with that, but that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. I'd rather have him producing "hits" that sound good than some joke producing mediocre or even below stuff.

Airwalk is immensely beautiful, without ever being cheesy. 9/10

And on top of that it's kinda relaxing but at the same time it makes me wanna move my feet, what a ch00n.

Loving Overrun
not really into Airwalk as much, a little too melodic for my taste.
Still impressed with Henrik B and his production diversity. Also, I'm shocked Armin isnt raping Airwalk at the moment.

Anyone know when this comes out?

Posted by mrcanon on Aug-23-2006 22:25:

Damn, Overun is so good!

Henrik should stick to the techno he used to release, was always one of my favourite producers, this is all a bit bleh!

Both these get a massive

Pretty ch00ntastic I'd say!

Not bad at all. But they don't come anywhere near Logos

Hurrah for another half decent techno producer going with the latest fad.

As for the tracks themselves, here's my review:

Yawn.

yeah seriously wtf

how did he go from Manwolf to this? I'm so sick of all these established techno guys jumping on the "electro-house" shit wagon. They didn't all start making "progressive" when that was shit hot, what the crap are they doing. Seems like at some point during 2005 all the techno djs got together and said "Alright, we either have to go electro or minimal!" Beyer did a lot of work with Henrik B and he went the more minimal route, but the sounds he plays now are still a much more natural progression, and the current minimal scene imo represents an evolution in the techno scene, not really a drastic genre switch. This is different and it makes me mad.

ps: I have The Wound...

Sonatina ftw!

anyway, this release is average, I'd give it a 6/10 in total for both tracks

Posted by beema on Sep-07-2006 16:22:

Not only did he attempt to copy the Pryda sound unsuccessfully (which is lame enough -- sounds like he used the same exact instruments, maybe it's a prerequisite for being on this label?), but both tracks manage to sound like the background music in a tampon commercial.

1/10 for me
shame on you Henrik

^^Haha ! .. oh and Henrik said that he is leaving techno to produce house 100% .. in ya face!
