We actually played a lot of nice stuff so I take a lot of positives from that match. Two very very sloppy defending cost us two goals, and at other times we looked shakey at the back. However, we passed the ball round and kept possession for lengths at a time very well. Creativity was a bit lacking but nobody ever thought we'd go to Spurs and win!
All in all, two good performances and a good start to our campaign (still need new blood tho)
you should have been 5-0 down at half time so I hear, it wasn't until colin got you in the dressing room that you started playing.
you need pace for the premiership, and apart from Webber, I don't see where thats coming from. Unlucky
Well we had Unsworth markin Lennon (which led to the first goal) so you don't need to tell me about pace!!
Ifill's got pace, Armstrong, Tonge and Jagielka are all still young and have a bit. Bromby aint too bad but the rest of the defence is sloooooow!

I feel Sheff Utd can only get points this season by playing as they did against Liverpool, granted Liverpool were not playing their best(thats not to be bigheaded but they are CL Cup Holders)
But as the fact that Sheff Utd played their hearts out, and tried proving something, I sincerely hope the best for SheffUtd this year.

This Premiership lark is a bit of a laugh innit!?
To absolutely piss all over one of the (supposedly) best teams in Europe with 6 of our first team out, and our midfielder in goal for the last half hour, is an amazing result!
Maybe it's time we starting aimin for a European spot?!

You did well yesterday though, Arsenal hate it when teams get at them, we've done it successfully for a long time now, and even better at your win, it leaves us in 3rd place. I don't expect us to end the season there, but to be there at the end of the year is pretty special to me & testament to big sam, as it's the goals of Anelka, a player many wouldn't touch now, that have done it for us

Congrats on signing Luton Shelton, He's a great player who's really strong and fast.
He did exceptionally well together with Karekezi and Henrik Larsson at Helsingborg earlier this season.
