[SYD] Sweetchilli Pres. PETTER - 22nd September
Petter Tours Australia for Sweetchilli
Swedish Producer/DJ prodigy Petter Nordkvist, tours Australia for the first time in September 2006. Only 21 years of age and a special talent to say the least, anybody who is interested in electronic music has heard of Petter and his stunning first releases, 'These Days' and the 'Six Songs EP'. Petter has won over fans all around the world, including approval from countless producers and DJs, Border Community owner and electronic God James Holden needed only to hear 'These Days' and he was quick to praise Petter (then a teenager) as a musical phenom. Sasha is also a confirmed follower, having revived and remixed These Days for his Involver compilation, but Petters tracks are equally at home in the more offbeat sets of the likes of Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Trevor Jackson and The Hacker.
Petters music wears its diverse influences on its sleeve, fusing together techno, electro, dub, ambient, acid, breaks and deep house in his own unique style. With releases on Hollands "Deep" Records, Holden's "Border Community" and more recently John Dahlbacks "Pickadoll" imprint, Petter's sound is at the cutting edge, one that everyone wants to produce but few can.
The young Swede has also gained a solid reputation for his Live & DJ sets, an equally unique hybrid of electro-tinged dubbed-out house and techno. As well as appearances around Stockholm, Petter holds quarterly residencies at Border Communitys label nights at Turnmills in London and is now a highly sought after international artist.
Petter Plays the Civic theatre 22nds September for Sweetchilli supported by Carlos Zarate, Tim Culbert & Sari, and Daniel Crocetti.

4 totally different styles of track, all totally unique and amazing.
