_____________

DJ's for the night include...

JAMES CURD [GREENSKEEPERS, CLASSIC, OM RECORDS]
James Wilson Curd began spinning loft parties and raves at the ripe old age of fifteen years. At the time, most of his friends made fun of him for this, called him names and never returned his phone calls. These same friends would wind up eating their words because by the time James was 19 he had already built a solid foundation for himself in the Chicago club scene as well as the scenes from many of major cities around Chicago. At 20, though still not legally admissible to the clubs he was spinning at, James found himself guest Dj-ing at most of Chi-Town's dominant dance clubs while holding down residencies along side Chicago greats, Gene Farris and Diz. At about this time, James's love of music pulled him into the strange and wonderful world of music production. Within his first year, he had his first record deal with the French recording label BNO.

With him to celebrate his success was long time skateboard friend, Nick Maurer. It was 1998 and Nick had just moved back into town after working for a year in Southern Germany as (you guessed it) a greens keeper. What James forgot was that Nick was a talented guitarist, pianist and drummer who (after his year overseas with crazy techno blasting his ears) developed a taste for electronic music. They decided to join forces to see if their two unique perspectives on music creation could spawn something great. With James's studio equipment and Nick's old Ibanez, they were able to lay the foundation for a project that blossomed into what is Greenskeepers today.

LEVI GRAHAM [INSURGENT RECORDINGS, CATAPHONICS]
Born into an exceptionally artistic family, Levi was introduced to house music at a young age. In 92' he began experimenting with synthesizers in his uncle's studio after being introduced to the sounds of Orbital and Underworld. In 94' he attended his first warehouse party... Later, as part of the Insurgent Recordings collective (Austin, TX), Levi helped set up a string of invite-only renegade parties that helped establish Insurgent as a driving force in the Texas underground. In 2002 Levi relocated to Chicago. Since then he's kept a busy dj schedule, his unique style of quirky electro house and progressive as well as extreme skill behind the decks have earned him respect from some of the top djs in the world.

Along with AMP residents...

DARIN EPSILON [DARINEPSILON.COM, XTC RADIO]
A relative newcomer to the scene, Darin Epsilon is clearly a name to watch for in the near future. His advanced technical skills along with his unique programming abilities have caught the attention of many influential industry taste-makers. His mixes have received overwhelming support being featured on the internet radio stations Digitally Imported (DI.fm), Proton Radio, Frisky Radio, Mercury Sessions, XTC Radio London, and PURE.fm, among several others. He is currently in the process of wrapping up a number of original productions. Red Circle Music recently signed his remix of Entropy by the LA duo Compound Bass. The single also includes remixes by Jairus Miller and Fady Ferraye and will be released later in 2006. Also watch for upcoming announcements on his dual residencies at XTCRadio.com and PURE.fm in Fall 2006. With his strong background in music and high ambitions for success, he hopes to someday leave his mark on the world.

PETE ONE [MYSPACE.COM/PETEONE, BPM CHICAGO]
Born in beginning of 80's in Poland, he attended an international music school at the age of nine, where for four years, he studied the history of classical music and took piano lessons. In the mid-90's he fell in love with performers like Orbital, Future Sound of London, and the Prodigy. Soon after he bought his first pair of turntables and taught himself the art and science of mixing records. His style of music can be described as nasty, deep, and sexy futuristic sounds. His biggest influences include international DJs such as Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish, James Lavelle, and Steve Lawler.

If it's an AMP hosted open bar from 10-11, why would I want to buy a package from 10-1. I should just do the 11:45-2:45 right, or am I missing something here.
