How long....
...did you lurk TA before you actually joined?
I guess it was abut 2 days for me, though I wouldn't really call it lurking. My sister told me about the site so I checked it out a couple times before deciding to create an account.
yeah me 2 days aswell
found it through my friend called "google" lol
I posted the first day I was here about some Sasha/Steve Porter show I went to.
i lurked about for a week before i finally joined in 2001
i lurked probably a couple of months. didn't join until i really needed an ID on a track haha
.
wish i'd joined earlier so i coulda been one of the 1337 oldschoolers from 2001...
I think I lurked for like 4-5 months. I dont know why it took me so long to join.
i joined/posted on the same day i found out about the site. i wanted to comment on the NU-NRG orgasmatron set
about a year.
I remember my friend laughing her ass off at a party review one day...and I was like wtf is so funny?!?
after that day......there's been no turning back
several times i came across TA but i was only seeing the download section and one time by curiosity i checked the forum ...And finally i registered some times after

i read it on & off from late 2000 but I wasn't sure if I could handle being part of a big forum, so I joined a couple of smaller ones first, then ta in sep2001, posting a couple of times but mainly reading. made my current account in december of that year, and haven't looked back

about one year. registered to take part of a tsunami thread in the swedish subforum.
A few weeks. I found it through pvdplanet.net.
shit i lurked when swamper was making the site
i joined right away, leeched some crap, then never visited for like almost 2 years. then I started whoring.
Several months. I was first drawn to TA for the live sets section and actually didn't even visit the forum section for quite some time. I regret I took as long as I did.
For about 6 months at least. Then I signed up with a username like 'vandit fan' or something equally as moronic. I used that account for about another 6 months, and then completely stopped posting for a bit. Then somehow I managed to forget what my username was and password as well, so signed up again. The rest is mofo'ing history.
When I think about how long ago all this was it makes me feel quite old.
i didn't even know about TA and i had been in the irc chatroom for months before i realized it was a site. lol i was an idiot. i was trying to find a tracklist for an old tiesto set and this guy told me about the irc room, so i started going in there and chatting and messing around...didn't even realize it was a site, then i was like, "OHHHHH! COOL!"
didnt even know what a "thread" was or "post". i had never been on an online forum before. took a while to get used to everything.
For about 18 months earlier i guess. Stumbled across TA every once in a while in summer 2000 when googling stuff. At the time i was mostly in my domestic forums tho but i just kept on reading posts on TA as well without any further hassle until in late 2001 i just got too annoyed for my own grimness to notice all the wrong info posted the only thing i could do was to register and straighten things up.
About a month. Made the wise decision to observe forum etiquette before getting blasted like most noobs do.

i've learnt about it in 2001 i think (thanks to infinity High wearing a TA shirt) i didn't lurk, cause i didn't listen to EDM so much back then. Then i joined and posted right away in the core
i was first made aware of the site way back in the day, from the "tranceaddict.com" extension attached to all the shit swamper was sharing on napster and other sites 24/7
[some people often mentioned the site on the twilo messageboard as well back then]
then for about a year before i joined, i browsed the ny forum regularly, mostly for party reports (this was when the ny forum was actually populated by knowledgeable folk...)
