ROFL... so many in the states.... 10 out of the 18 are from our neighbour.

Atleast Stereo made the list.

Interesting too see Forbe made a list.

1. amika - miami
2. amnesia - ibiza
3. avalon - hollywood
4. berghain - berlin
5. church - denver
6. cielo - new york
7. crobar - new york
8. goa - rome
9. ice - las vegas
10. mansion - miami
11. m.o.s - london
12. pacha - ibiza
13. pacha - new york
14. rube skye - san fran
15. space - ibiza
16. space - miami
17. stereo - montreal
18. turnmills - london

Next year we might see Opera or House if they bring in alot of names... or Tribe.

One thing our clubs here sort of can compete with the ones from NYC thats 110% sure.

Including Turnmills but not Fabric is utter, utter sacrilege.

Is there a more forward-looking large club than Fabric anywhere in the world?

Posted by jester on Aug-27-2006 15:13:

I still can not believe Forbes made a list for something like this.

Isn't there a better list somewhere on the internet...

Wasn't Fabric named the best club on the planet?

This is the true list

The DjMag one is a lot more realistic, though it's skewed slightly in favour of places the British do their clubbing - the UK and Ibiza.

True.

Isn't DJMag from Britain anyways so thats bias. Forbes is american so thats bias. Shit happens.

If Canada has something like this... probably have Stereo or GUV probably at number 1.

cavo paradiso is a really nice club, but not one of the best in the world for sure, the sound system there sucks, but the place is really nice still.

Not sure how Church in Denver, CO made it that high up the list. Granted its a nice place but nothing spectacular.

Posted by jester on Aug-28-2006 00:59:

Only thing thats accurate from forbe is the list of billionaires.

One thing I can not wait to see Mirror list for top clubs and shit. I know its for Montreal only.

One thing I bet Opera can compete with any of the clubs in NY or Miami. I have a feeling its the same concept inside, but I will find out when I step inside Opera when IM in town. I could be wrong. I wonder what the soundsystem is like.

agreed. How The Church can be rated above Space in Ibiza is beyond me.

What is the criteria for the list? Profit (given that it's Forbes making the list)?

If it was profit... wouldnt Pacha in Ibiza make even more?

Posted by Patius on Aug-29-2006 16:43:

guys, the list is in alphabetic order ... not from best to worse ....

Posted by bogartgreens on Aug-29-2006 16:54:

it blows my mind that crobar nyc made it in there considering all the negative press coverage lately, and theyve been spinnin more hip-hop nights this summer, not even havin an openin house dj ..pacha nyc is nothing special either..how did guvernment not make the list?

True, you'd think Forbes would appreciate when a club cares only about making money.

I seriously doubt its based on profit....Stereo does not sell alcohol. There are so many clubs with bigger capacities, similar covers to stereo, and they serve 9$ beers not including bottle service.
You have to sell a shitload of Naya at 5$ to equal one bottle of grey goose at 8 times its original price

This list is still pretty shit though.

what?...no aria.hahahahahahaha

that is because people who have actually been to god clubs know the difference between a kick ass club and a disneyland for 40something cracked out asians.Guv is nothing but a Costco with strobelights.
