Review: Blank and Jones - Guv't August 26th...
Wow, what a fantastic night. The music was deep, dark and dirty all night long. Epic tracks. Highlight for me? "A Forest - B & J"... what a tune to drop 
Oliver was solid, as usual, warming up the crowd. He did a great job of not infringing on B and J's territory... by the time they hit the decks, everyone was thoroughly ready for hours of ripping synths
I enjoyed the slightly less than packed main room, which provided ample space to dance. Note to self, for next time: wear as little as possible, seeing as how they absolutely hound you for anything close to "shirtless".
Hope you all enjoyed it, I know we did.
my friend passed out on the way to guv after some predrinks, I had to take him home - that was my night.

i was there !!!! amazing night..
'the nightfly' was beeing played when i left around 4:30.
glad to see so many tas around .. till the next one.
I have to admit, I had no intentions of going into the main room. The plan was to see Simon in the Gallery (I <3 Simon) and then leave after hearing Miss Blue play for a while. I journied into the main room for a bit, and to my surprise, it was hard, fast, and dirty techy! I had a blast, as always.
It was good seeing you tonight Shaya, been a while buddy. Nice pictures as always. Did you get a chance to slap Mike around tonight? I know he ventrued into the main room looking for you.
One of the most fun filled and wicked Trance night of 2006. Exactly what i had expected.

One of the most memorable nights of recent memory.
Wikkid set by Blank and Jones, hard and dirty set by Sydney and a hands in air trance finish by Mr.Oliver was what made the night.
Took lotsa pics and videos...to come later on today after a much needed rest.

definately one of the most interesting and memorable nights out. great tunes...mark oliver opened hard....and closed with some nice trance. blank and jones ripped the place apart. simple.
but BY FAR the best moment i've ever had in guv history was tonight when everyone ran inside when it started to pour. me gypsy and tyler end up seeing sasha and i think 2 other people outside, standing there having a smoke. so what do 6 TOTA's do in that situation? DANCE!!! the doors headed out to the patio were absolutely packed with people standing inside so they wouldnt get wet and they were just staring at us. we were having a blast slipping around outside in the pouring rain. even the people inside looked like they were having fun watching us outside. it was great when gradually people started to realize that it was only rain and they should be out there having fun with us. gradually made their way out and we proceeded to tear the patio up.

I was planning on going, but I had ended up working for 13 hours yesterday. By the time I got home B&J would have gone on in an hr, I was too damn tired, so I am pissed I missed it, at least I'll have LOL.

oh my god. my first TA event and i get to spend it on an almost empty patio dancing in the rain to blank and jones, with the best dance troop, (imo), while all the smokers who are suppose to be used to unfavourable weather run for cover. seriously, it was magic.
i cant say that any songs really stick out to me from the set, but i remember dancing my ass off wherever i went...with the ta's, on the stage, outside, in the pit, walking anywhere...haha
met some great ppl, and i can't wait to do it all again for LoL. almost FERRY time!!!
tracklist guys all i can remember that stuck out to me was...f16...casino...control freak svd mix...a couple ron van den beuken tracks...i think ur loving arms...direkt disco...help lol
oh and ibiza euphoria and that ferris buler song mix im not sure what its called still
WOw, that was fantastic last night, but was it me, or was it hotter/more humid in there than its been before? Maybe i'm not feeling well, 'cause i almost passed out 3 times w/ all those hands in the air moments... still, i was feeling fine going in i just don't ever remember leaving so drenched. (and i didn't dance in the rain either, i just stayed in the fog inside)
I will definitely give my review some time tonight....I just got home and I'm gonna rest for a few hrs.

very fun night. i got stuck out on the patio when it began to pour too, so i was drenched as well. All in all, it was a great night. great set by Blank & Jones, it was really hard, quality trance. THese nights dont come to often in Toronto, and this was definately one of my fav parties this year. Cant wait till they're back!
