Thumbs up Falling asleep at work

Sometimes I have to be here at 6am, sometimes 5am. I live about an hour away from where I work so I have to be up at 4am in order to get here on time. Now usually between 6am and 8am there's NOTHING going on, no calls coming in and i'm generally the only person here. I took a nap and woke up JUST before my boss walked in. Mint

Once I got fired for sleeping on the job .....

I used to sleep on the job daily for about 1 to 2 hours and I did that for 2 3 months.

yes that was very bad

Hahaha nice one Bas. How was work on Sunday? I passed out right after you guys left! I wish I could sleep at work again....ever since we moved locations......the big boss man keeps walking by so no more sleepy time for me

Nice.
I dont sleep but I usually get about 1-2 hours of being on the internet before the other guy I work with comes in. Then I just have to pretend like Im doing work or just position myself so that he cant see my screen.
Oh crap he just walked in. ugh, I hate Mondays.

lol work was very...difficult to say the least. When Bunny and I left Clovis', I grabbed some breakfast from Del Taco, got back to Bunny's and showered before work. 7am - 3pm...soooo hard without sleep

Luckily when I got here another co-worker of mine was already here napping lol. That cracked me up. So I slept under the desk and she gave me her sweater to use as a pillow (what a mom). Then she found a blanket I could use

So there I was, 7am...sleeping under my desk at work

Yeah I think I almost got busted today. As soon as my boss walked in I woke up but the computer monitors were off, so I had to flip them on and have SOMETHING open to make it look like I was busy but I was too disoriented to figure anything out

'where is bas'

'he is somewhere else, definitely not sleeping under his desk.'

I wish I could sleep at work. Its just my students get a lil angry when you are sleeping in front of them. hehe. I should try it.

where do u work?

so during one of my lunches with a co-worker, we was talkin about falling asleep during the day. so she goes, yea i sometimes take a nap in the conference room. So I asked her what if someone comes in and she explained to me in detail the "I came in to get some paper clips" method of sleeping in the conference room.

Basically you lay out paper clips on the conference room table and then put your head down and sprawl your arms out such that it looks like you are reaching for the paperclip and if someone was to walk in you could simply get up and say hi, im just in here pickin up some paperclips...

not so sure it worked but i guess she's practiced it many a times before since she was dead serious about it lol

when i worked retail, there were days i worked friday mornings but i still went out on thursday nite. Needless to say, i would be able to find a bin of fleece blankets and fall asleep in there for a good 40minutes

I work as a dealer at the casino,
I've actually fallen asleep at a dead table, harsh rubbernecked it too!
Another time while standing at a dead table I must have started to fall over while I fell asleep, because I sort of jumped up instead of rubbernecking it. Looked up and no one appeared to be watching (I was in the high stakes room so not too bad as out in the main area).
Another time I fell asleep in the quiet room in the staff cafeteria on my break at 2:30 (I thought I had set my alarm on my cell). So when I get up I start to make my way upstairs to relieve the next person but as I'm walking, I stare at the clock down the hall and I'm trying to make sense of it. It was 3:45, and the casino closes at 3:00! My manager thought it would be funny to let me sleep and not have anyone wake me up. Sucked though, I had shit to take care of when I got home so I didn't get to bed till 5:30 or so.

when i was in the military we slept everywhere.. in parked trucks, the rooms where we clean the guns.. the laundry rooms.. all kinds of weird places..
