The Big Surprise Redux

Alright. Some of you may remember the story but for those who are new to the forum, here's a quick recap.

About a year and a half ago, there was a huge to-do in the CORe about a "big surprise" that I had in store for everyone. Contrary to what many believed at the time (and still joke about today), there was in fact some substance to my claim.

Unfortunately, things went south about six weeks into the project. One of three 250GB storage drives died on me and a third of my efforts were forever lost.

I pretty much gave up after that. I started to make just as much of a joke out of the "big surprise" as everyone else on the board and had a lot of fun creating all kinds of CORe-esque drama in the months that followed. Having become generally bored with the forum and deciding to take a break, I came up with a lame-ass excuse for a "surprise" and quit posting. Cold turkey.

Throughout the past eighteen months, I've posted periodically. (Mostly when drunk.) What you don't know is that I've been busy in my absence.

Yeah. That's right, bitches.

I've been rebuilding the "big surprise".

What is it, you ask?

The truth will be revealed at 10PM Pacific... tonight.

Because I never revealed what it was. In truth, I've kept my mouth shut about what I was really working on the ENTIRE time.

Orbax knows what the surprise was. So do a few other TA's.

well thats even worse. you cant just go giving out surprises whenever you feel like and then not following through with them!
