Pulser - Cloudwalking info

i couldnt believe this news when i saw it (taken from i:vibes website):
"...Cloudwalking only had a small quantity released and that is why it�s so sought after. I�ve even had offers of $100 or more for my copy, which I don�t have anymore. I gave it to Tiesto for one of his Magik compilations.
I can reveal that �Cloudwalking� is going to come out again very soon with some great new mixes. Although I�ve moved on a lot in my own production style since I wrote Cloudwalking I�m happy to see it back again (at least I�ll have a copy to play)."

i think that it is insane that cloudwalking is so rare even the fucking artist who wrote the fucking song doesnt have a copy of it on vinyl. And the fact that his only copy that he did own was given to tiesto for the historic ending track in magik 6 is amazing as well. hmmm, i wonder how much he will pay for my cloudwalking...mwhahahaha! I:vibes also got word from andy perring that a new pulser single will be released called "into the light"..mmmmmmmmm.

any idea when it's gonna be re-released? (hopefully on cd)

i have no clue, maybe before summer 2002.

lol yeah i saw that i was shocked too i had a chance to buy it argh! but some **** outbided me at the last minute FUCK YOU whoever that was _FUCK_YOU_ but i spose if it gets re-released i can grab a copy to play (although i do want the collecters) but hey i guess thats the main thing and itl have some rad mixes too!

btw does anyone know EXACTLY how rare it is? like how many copies exist

and DJ Neilson... are you sure its a ferry corsten remix? Ive never heard this version and the ones that are offered under this remix title on Audio Galaxy sound identical to the original version. To my knowledge there is the original and astral remix...

I have a copy. Anyone know how much they are going for on ebay? Im thinking about selling mine...its just sitting in my crate and Id rather have money or a handfull of other records I would play.

I talked to Pulser on Saturday night about this actually, as he headlined a local rave here. It's being re-released in the coming months with a new Armin van Buuren remix of it, he said it's gonna be big. Tiesto also did a remix but they rejected it, because he tried to do something really different with it and they didn't like it all that much.

Funny bit of info, Andy (aka Pulser, aka one half of Insigma), said that when he first made this track he thought it was total shite. It wasn't until about a year after he made it that he started thinking "Yeah, I guess this track is actually pretty good".

not true, it doesn't come with an armin mix, but im sure infinity will post the correct info beneath my post

Armin mix? Tiesto mix? From what i last heard, the next Pulser release contains an Insigma 2002 remix, and also a Goldenscan Remix... Andy hasn't mentioned anything about an Armin mix to me before, but i guess i'll see what he has to say to that

He told me specifically that there's an Armin van Buuren mix, and that he had it on CD. He did not mention anything about when it was going to be released.

ya that's funny i thought the exact same thing too, but all these TAs hyped it so much i gave it a couple more chances, now i like it..

hey can someone tell me when insigma - open our eyes was first played, cuz i remember hearing it over a year ago.. before tiesto's dutch dimension last march (3-24-01?) even... so when i heard oakie play it and it was on magik 7, it was already like damn.. this is old..

kinda annoys me that i didnt pick it up before it got/ is GOING to get huge.

the last cloudwalking vinyl that i saw on ebay went for 51GBP which is roughly 72 US dollars.

there IS no ferry corsten remix. it was a mis-label of the original mix.

I myself have 2 copies at hand....one given to me by my brother who doesn't spin trance anymore...and the other I got it for 8 pounds at replayrecords last November.....it was a lucky catch...

I wanted to sell one copy since December, had one guy offer me US $ 120...but decided that it is definately worth more....so I decided to keep it....

Oh well, just keep a look out for ATCR releases as some of them are as rare as hen's teeth...
