SF - Love Parade 2006 ?

Anybody driving out to san fran or is everybody flying?

im going to be in sacto from the 20th to the 25th. i hate sacto but i have lots of friends there so visiting friends since i cant get to love parade.

Im looking to carpool with someone. My car wont make it and it would probably cost too much to drive with just my girlfriend and myself anyway. If someone has a big car we can just split the cost. I am trying to convince my friends to go so we can just split the cost but they sound like they do not want to go. How many hours does is it take to get to S.F. anyways?

Im in the same boat! it sucks i have money to put in some gas too also if anybody wants to get a hotel out there im down to put some for that aswell but my parents wont let me take the car all the way to SF! so maybe a kind soul is willin to help us

Here is the thing..I have to pick up my friend from LAX at 6pm and then head up to SF.. leaving the love lee party out of the picture.

I was also going to rent a lager car get a lata carvan going like last year... There is no way my car will make it up there and driving in SF with a stick.. SUCKS!!!

I have to try to figure out the details with my job and a good meeting spot and time get get the carpool going..

I will keep everyone up to date...

I was going to fly up for this until I found out that the FFRF convention is the weekend after. No LP for me.

well my car is out now. Its starting to overheat while idle or slow moving. Looks like i need a ride too. Anyone goin for love lee? and leavin from sac or close to sac. im willin to chip too.

Yep, I'm driving up there with a couple friends. Staying at the Hotel Metropolis on Market. Just two blocks from where the Love Lee Party is going to be!! Woo hoo!!

Someone told me that you can get a train ride out there for 20 bucks. Anyone know who provides this service and maybe what train station i should go too?

my buddy called in for me today because he is heading down to SD tonight he told me it runs around 57 bucks for 1 trip roundtrip its 117...so thats how the train situation goes.
