Best camera you've ever owned

...including point and shoot automatics, ones that you take anywhere with you, including venues (well of course) that take great pics overall...

any examples of pics u've taken is welcomed as well!!

- indoor/outdoor clubbing/venue pictures
- outdoor picutres (with and without people)
- indoor pictures (with and without people)

feel free to discuss at length what makes YOUR camera the best!

my old Nikon Coolpix digicam was my favorite. i liked it way better than my new digicam, which is a Canon.

But seriously .... I have owned loads of rubbish cameras but the best I used was my sisters hasselblad

i got a coolpix 995
takes good pictures, but i hate the ******
most awkward and slow camera i've used, but for macro shots and studio stuff its bloody amazing

nikkormat SLR from the 70s that my parents bought... very simple camera. metal casing made it durable. used it for my HS and college photo classes.

now i have canon powershot SD400. elph! great size, not too much lag time between shots (unlike my old sony cameras).

I currently use a nikon S1 which is good unless it's used in a club or something. I was going to buy a Canon DSLR but I often times find myself in some extreme situations and a big camera like that wouldn't be practical.

i think your sig is too big.

and my current camera is my best, canon powershot sd500. I bought it after winning a bunch of money playing craps.
