Shure White Labels - Balanced?

Yes, another cartridge thread I know! There was a thread some time ago discussing Ortofon vs. Shure, and one of the common complaints I read was that the Shure White Labels were "unbalanced" which could lead to some difficulty in cueing and mixing. Is this still the case? Or was that simply a bad production run that caused a certain lot of White Labels to be "bad"?

I bedroom DJ only, so for my next cartridge purchase I want something with low record wear, but I still want great sound. I understand that Shure is renowned for low record wear. Are White Labels my best choice, or should I look at their other carts too? Thanks guys.

I've had zero problems with mine, and have a few DJ friends who also use them.
