Broken bones...
What bones have you guys broke before?
So i've broken my right hand by hitting a punch man (not bag) too hard too many times last night...
So i went into work today anyway, puked up due to taking dodgy painkillers and my hand kills.
Would you say its an acceptable ticket off work for a few days? My hand hasn't stopped throbbing since last night. My job involes just typing, writing and talking...and im right handed...
What would you say?
ive broken a toe by slicing it off on a bike
i broke my wrist once, i fell off a truck
Not sure... but when I was 4 or 5, I put a chair on the bed, and sat on it. Then I start jumping on the bed while sitting down. My parents were yelling "NO! STOP!" but I kept going.
Eventually, I fell backwards and hit my head on the radiator. LOL. They had to take me to the hospital. I think I cracked my skull just a teensy tiny bit.
Another time, I was 11 and flipping on the bed (I never learned my lesson) and I fell on the back of my neck and kind of cracked my spine or something. All I know is I rolled over on the floor and could not breathe or get up. I was unable to jump or run for about 2 weeks.
Do those count?

Ive never broken anything.
I must also say that a girl has broken her wrist at work and she hasnt been in for 2 weeks. I just dont want my bosses thinking im bunking off thats all.
why are you even at work? if your job involves typing and writing and you're right-handed, surely a doctor's note would get you out of working!
i've never broken any bones.
i broke my left leg twice, my right leg once, and my collar bone. do concussions count?
Never had bones broken, but did have to have 2 toes hacked open.
I broke one of my sisters finger once ... she was 8 or so at the time .... does that count?
ps: she complained about having some pain in her fingers for 2 weeks before my mother finally decided to take her to the hospital.
collar bone, both arms, a few fingers, jaw
I am almost 23, and have never had a broken bone, nor have I ever been stung by anything (bees, wasps, etc.)

I broke my ankle a couple of years ago in a drinking accident. Went to the emergency department a couple of days later, they said we can x-ray it now, but takes 4 hours to see a doctor. My sister was with me and she used to work in that emergency ward as a doctor so they let her check the x-rays. She said there's nothing broken.
8 days later I get a call from the hospital who say it it's still sort to go see another doctor. Another ex-ray confirms it's broken after 10 days hobbling on it.
leg plaster sucks, cannot carry anything around whilst hopping or on crutches, so you have to crawl around the house for food or drinks.
I think I broke a rib at a rugby game 4 weeks ago, another drinking issue. I guess that's what happens when you support the springboks when they play in australia
when i was little i wasnt very careful and i was full of energy so i would get hurt all the time
im not shure how it goes.. left or right but i htink it goes like this
right arm - 2ice
right leg - 2ice
left arm - 1nce
left leg - 1nce
i hated when it was all itchy under the cast. :s
