The West will lose against Radical Islam, unless....

I think that the West will not win against Radical Islam for one reason. They are savage brutes and we are Civilized People.
Now before you go off and accuse me of talking shite about the Radicals. Hear me out.

Iraq is a perfect example. How come the Worlds Greatest Military is basically getting its ass handed to them?? Because we are civilized. These radicals are like dogs that will attack you when your back is turned. They use WWII era equipment and homemade bombs to cripple and destroy any hope for that region to become Civilized. While the West has rules and morals, these Radicals have no regret when they kill babies, children and innocent shop keepers. They have the ignorant belief that their God awaits them in heaven so they have nothing to lose. They use women and children as shields and hide their weapons in places of worship and schools. They are winning by not playing by Civilized Rules.
So what can the West do?? In my Opinion, the only way to have world peace is to not pull out, cause that will just give them more to want, but what must be done is the Total and Complete An destruction of these people and their followers and families. Once they see that the west is as brutal as they are, then they will respect and come to the table as civilized humans. The way both WWs were won was the total destruction of another country and thier people, Germany and Japan, You would think that the West would of learned their lesson with Korea and Vietnam, fighting the guerilla style can only be beat by taking out the guerillas homes and destroying their family's.
I fear that this war will continue as long as we act civilized and allow the Islamic Radicals to continue this.
The West must stop this pussyfooting around with these people and take it to them, Damn the consequences, Kind of like John Travolta said in Sword Fish:

When we are supposed to be the protector of the new gov in Iraq and we cannot even stop nor can the US trained military of Iraq stop the crap that is going on now, uh yeah, we are getting are asses handed to us. They alredy know that the US (notice i didnt use the word west here. US is not the whole western hemisphere and not every country is as fucked up as they are) is as brutal as they if not more. Brutality does not bring respect but fear and anger. If you want to have a level discussion with someone pissing them off is not the best way to go at it.

When was the last time a country full of christians was invaded and watched their brothers and sisters being killed and/or tortured on a daily basis. Everyone fights back, hell if someone invaded vatican and killed them for no good reason you can rest assured that if one of the invaders was cought the pope himself would be shown on tv beheading that prick while shouting god is great.

No, it's not what you said about the Radicals, is your statement as a whole. There's no such unified war of "The West" against "Radical Islam", and neither "Radical Islam" nor your concept of "West" deserve a halo over their heads.

Thank you to Moongoose and Lira. I only posted this to make a point and I needed some one with a unbiased opinion against my remarks. Basically I had a discussion with someone (a holy roller bible thumping redneck) that had this attitude. Like most religious zealots, he was speaking like he was so moral. If I would of came here and told you exactly what I needed I would not of got the passion from you both.
I am ashamed of how this country, the US, has handled this whole fuck up that El Busho has got us into. Sadly the Majority of the US thinks this way, look at how they favor racial profiling to weed out terrorists. Makes a mesican want to move to Canada.
