fucking love it mate (L)

Awesome work. Great atmosphere calm but driving. PERFECT set opener.

Well fucking done!!!

You need more of a lead in to the break down. It seems almost obligatory for the chorus, as opposed to a real part of the song.

Ultimately it's very generic. A simple obligatory remix where all the parts of the template fit right in. It's power is derived entirely from the original song, in which case you should have at least given the original a bit more prominence in the mix instead of hiding it behind the supersaws.

Just repost also in your topic.

optik: Hi buddy! Yes ive heard it. Liked you remix and have it on my mp3player now for a while. Like a i said to thougless jex its diffcult to handle when it comes to mony sound in the track. also was thinking .....yes. its hard to mastering a track when all the instruments are floatig on eachother. it hard to separate bass & the bassdrum or kick as i cal it. But in your version i must say i did .nt feel quite mastered i putted that track on remastering. and it had a lift upp also with the bass. you must hear it. could sen it to you. But thanx for all the comments. I apreacheate that. Thanx

Cheers

cheers snowave;

I just stopped working on this as soon as I realised it was completely impossible to get in touch with imogen heap, her record label or publisher to ask some kind of permission.

the track wasn't "produced" - I barely equed it etc - send me the track!!

I like the organ-ish stuff and bass at the start.
But the kick is really weak, percs and clap need work too.
Break then is really chilled. Bass is good there.
But when the 4/4 returns it really misses some definition in the sounds and the perc high-ends are a bit fluffy.

Immi has a pretty chilled attitude towards remixes of her work. As long as it's clearly stated who the original artist is and you referr to her webpage when you can it's cool. Ohh and of course you can't make money on it either

About your track, I like the mood you're trying to create with it. It's clearly noticeable that you haven't done any real engineering on it yet tho.
I think you should work more on this and finish it, would be cool to hear it in a more polished state
