Re: [ROLLCALL] Markus Schulz 9/8 @ Avalon-Boston

markus was awesome!!! spoke to him before and after his set and he seems to be a really nice person actually remembers me from his last set in new york . either way he didnt' play a bunch of tracks i thought he would play but all in all it was a great set. avalon was pretty nice, staff was nice and it was not disgustingly packed. had a good time even though i didn't run into any TAs.

I sure did. Sound system was top notch, and that was the highlight of the club for me. Crowd was a little iffy, but I guess I should've expected that. Markus did a nice job, really getting into his darker stuff, which was killer live. Loved hearing "You're Loving Arms" on a big system. The only major complaint I have aobut the club was the placement of the dj. I couldn't see Markus that well at all, and that was kind of upsetting. Other than that, I was thoroughly impressed. I'll definitely be out there for Armin, Cox, and maybe some others.

i spoke to a guy who worked there and he said the only reason the dj booth was upstairs was because they had some type of concert earlier and didn't have time to change the set up.

Well at least they have an excuse for that. It would've been so much better if they have put Markus on the stage. He did a great job as usual, an awsome night ...
